I love this thread! Yes to all! Start with solitaire unraveling because (if memory serves me right) it was their first single. Crazy is a good song just to experience their work covering someone elses piece. Embrace the ending showcases their versatility as more than just another metal band without straying from their signature sound. My fav is 43 just because it starts out with the lyric "fuckin folding chairs in the hallway". idk why i find that so amusing. My hubby's favorite is Bwomp which I must agree is an amazing song. I have to get onto you for the comparison to slipknot (another great band). These guys predated slipknot so if anything slipknot should be compaired to them not the other way around. Personally id choose mushroomhead over slipknot any and every day. And about the drums... yes its water. they do the same thing during their live shows. They put on the best shows in the damn bussines! no joke. I would know, Ive been going to their shows since freshman year (2000) and they still bring it. I've got rock concert like Bill Gates has money. probably why I dont have money. lol. keep up the great work Van. Because of you I've subscribed to your whole damned family's channels. You probably do the best reactions on youtube. Just don't tell Mr Video I said so. He's my favorite. Sorry man he's got to be tops cuz he reminds me of my big brother. Faminly first bro.
Mushroomhead is the shit I have been a shroom fan for over 20 years you have to check out the rest of there albums and you definitely have to check out "A KILLERS CONFESSION" AKC
finally some Mushroonhead!!! it is not your first time hearing them tho, you didnt react to it, but i played you We Are The Truth about a month ago and you got freaked out lmao
I was late to the Mushroomhead game too, but I dig them a lot. Their latest album has some great tunes, "Seen It All" and "The Heresy." Long-time fans seem dismissive of the changes that have taken place in the band over the years, but they're still making great music. QWERTY was the tune that hooked me though!
You can’t go wrong with Mushroomhead. Just listen to the older stuff first and work your way to the newer. They won’t disappoint. Their newest “seen it all” is slightly different sounding but amazing none the less! Great reaction btw!
I was waiting for you to find these guys Unc. Can’t wait to see more mushroomhead reactions later on too. You should check out a couple videos of them I think it was at mayhem festival when it came down to California there’s some good videos of them playing live. They put on a good ass show I’m not gonna lie.
You want a harder banger by Mushroomhead? Listen to BWOMP!!! You want a soundtrack? Your Soul Is Mine. Recent singles? The Heresy or Seen It All. You got a lot of reacting to do!
LOVED this reaction. And the fact that you like MRH so far. Well done. Do yourself a favor man and check out “Dream Is Over” and “1200”. Both 2 of my favorite MRH songs
I have seen this band twice in the last 6 or 7 years. This is the song that they play as they come out on stage. I think that you will also like the songs Devils Be Damned,We Are The Truth,Son Of 7,and Out Of My Mind. They are all from the same album
I have a couple of band recommendations for your consideration. Sabaton: they sing about historical battles and Vikings. Melissa Bonny: she has amazing vocals and performed with many bands among them, Warkings, Feuerschwanz, and Rage of Light. Jinjer: a great band with vocals similar to Melissa Bonny.
This hip hop fan should check out Colt Ford- Hip Hop in a Honky Tonk. I didn’t see country on the channel so, the time has come. I think you’ll like it.
Please react to Ween! I know I spent some time just posting the word Ween as a way of making you wonder what the hell I meant and look it up... but now I'm imploring you! Not enough reacters are catching on to my favorite band of all time. They are weird, awesome, sophmoric, true muscians that love what they do! Freedom of '76, The Argus, Bananas and Blow, Ocean Man, Buckingham Green, Voodoo Lady, You Fuct Up... something. They were the inspiration for Sponge Bob!!!
React to, do or die by Machine Head ! I'm dumbfounded how nobody has suggested machinehead to you . True talent here . This song doesn't show case their full musical talents but there a lot of sugar honey ice tea talk in this song.
JMann is still in the band but now Jackie is there. Listen to their new album A Wonderful Life, which is good. We Are The Truth, The Heresy or Seen It All are really good, more current sounds. Solitaire Unraveling is an old song from 99, Skinny and JMann are the only ones still in the band. Yeah, I'm a fan of Mushroomhead.
Bro I'm catching up on all the Hopsin reactions, and YOU ARE LISTENING TO THE HOPSIN COLLECTION BACKWARDS! Shoulda started with his early stuff the picture paints itself.
If I'm getting you right, you love drums, right? It would be interesting to see your reaction to some of the Rambo-soundtrack. "No rules of engagement" is very cool. It is without lyrics though.
Sun Doesnt Rise is far superior. With their original line up more or less before the singer J Mann left, hes back now after several year hiatus though.
Yooo...you love Drums please react to After the Burial- Anti-Pattern....and of course you MUST react to Slaughter To Prevail-Demolisher.....Please,please,please....its my bday man and im a drummer in a band. Show us drummers some love Bro!!!!.
Mushroomhead - Solitaire Unraveling
BWOMP
Simple Survival
12 Hundred
Excellent picks, especially BWOMP, that's real old-school.
Trash Talkers have a BWOMP reaction
And I'm dying to see someone react to 12 Hundred
Mushroomhead
Bruh, Outta my mind is my FAVORITE! Seen it all is dope as HELL! We are the Truth! Soo many excellent songs throughout the years.
Solitaire Unraveling is the next one by Mushroomhead you need to hit up
Truth
Solitaire unraveling, 1200, save us, simple survival. All are awesome songs
Naaaaah, son. He needs to listen to Crazy. Crazy is a seal song. Seal the artist. Yes... Seal... It's an amazing cover.
You got to react to their best song in my opinion Solitaire Unraveling
Yeah that whole album was amazing. This... this is absolutely garbage. And nowhere near metal.
👍🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You need to go with Sun Doesn't Rise, Simple Survival, Solitaire Unraveling, Save Us, Becoming Cold.
Yes to all of these
Loved this band for years
MC of the band (Jman) has a rap group 10,000 Cadillacs
Fun fact Mushroom Head first started the masks but since Slipknot is more popular they got the credit
Don't forget Gwar, or KISS. In rock/metal at least. I don't know if anybody can really be given credit for... Masks.
Kiss had been doing it long before any one.
Yes Kiss but they do face paint not masks but I see your point.
Wanna talk about face paint. What about ICP?? 🤡
@@c.oyenarte I can respect ICP as artists but im not really a fan and they do wear facepaint
You picked the right band to react to. I remember listening to their albums "XX" and "XIII" back in 2001 and 2003.
They have a cover of Seal's "Crazy" I really think you should hear
I was just listening to that the other day lol
Love this band
I saw these guys in concert when I was in HS. Must've been around 2002. I also recommend their song "Sun Doesn't Rise".
Same, although I think it was '03 for me. Saw them with Dope as a double headliner a week after Slipknot and Arch Enemy.
That was a great week 🤘🏻
J Mann of Mushroomhead had a rap group called 10,000 Cadillacs.
Don't forget 'idle worship' and 'for your pleasure'. . .underrated for sure.
More! Give me solitaire unraveling! I love the recent content btw, I love watching your growth! But pleeeeeeaaaaase! Lol.
I cannot tell you how excited I was to see that you reacted to Mushroom Head!!! More please.
Old school Mushroomhead is even better! Check out the song BWOMP for even more hip hop vibes from them! J Mann can spit!
I feel like you'd like BWOMP by Mushroomhead a lot. Definitely check that one out!

Check out these songs by MushroomHead...'Solitare Unraveling'..'12 Hundred'..'Simple Survival'..'Save Us'..more suggestions to follow
A lot of people don't care for it, but I think you'll dig "Save Us/Embrace The Ending." It's got a bit of "everything" in it...versatility.
Mushroomhead is the shit I have been a shroom fan for over 20 years you have to check out the rest of there albums and you definitely have to check out "A KILLERS CONFESSION" AKC
