Went to auto part store, they scanned it for me. It was the crank sensor, i completely the install , but car still cranking occasionally, any thoughts as to why? Thank you Some video says it needs to be programmed… but most say it doesn’t need to be programmed
It 100% does not have to be programmed. I am certain. It is just a simple magnet. If the Sensor was bad, it would almost NEVER catch and fire up. If its cranking, it is probably something else in the ignition. Just my thoughts.
@@DavidMSyme thank you for a prompt reply. I just put the new one and it hasn’t cranked as of yet just turns over. I feel as though it will crank eventually though. The reason I put the new one on. Is because the old one, would only crank once every 12 hours or so. Tomorrow I’ll put the old one back on, and see if it cranks. Thank you
You are right that no one explains these details! They plyers and the grease - Couldn't have done it without your help! Thank you!
I’m about to get into that project, thank you for the tips!!!!!
I have been thinking about doing mine. With your video, I think I will. Thank.
