Beau the fifth column has a great video on why this actually is not a good idea to do on either party. When they are the incumbent it usually ends up with the party that had the incumbent that lost the primary. Also losing the election to the opposing party so even though biden's not popular, it's best to keep him as the incumbent in order to keep the White House

Well they kept Jimmy Carter as an incumbent and he lost 46 states to Ronald Reagan and then they ran Jimmy Carter’s incumbent Vice President Walter Mondale the following election and Reagan won 49 states ( only losing Minnesota- Mondale’s state by a slim margin)

We had a better economy when Trump was in office we had a better border. Also when we went to get gas we didn’t get exploded. Moreover going to the grocery store, because when you get up to the register it’s a lot more expensive.
Just because we don't want Biden to run for re-election doesn't mean we won't vote for him in the general election. Sure, he's not perfect, and he'll probably struggle in any face-to-face debate when the opponent is allowed to just talk over him as he struggles to get his words out. The fact remains, though, that pretty much any Democratic candidate will be better for the country than anybody the Republicans are going to put forward as their nominee.

There was a time when polling used to mean something, but nowadays every poll has a +/- 15 pt spread. Unless 1 candidate is 30 pts ahead, there is no need to report that poll. Even then, all the polls do is create a sense of complacency in the projected winner and a sense of urgency in the projected loser, often times causing a flip in the actual voting.

Why don’t they run Hunter, his son, in his place (he’s Biden, in spades).
