Skypiea upon rewatch is absolutely amazing. Skypiea is basically a condensed version of the One Piece story itself and foreshadowed so much. You just can’t fully appreciate the parallels between Enel and the WG unless you re watch the arc after catching up
I was sold at Nami help me And Noland backstory is the moment I swore I will see the ending of this story before I die Luffy punch to ring the bell is still my goat One Piece moment and top 10 greatest moments ever in anime that I witnessed
I enjoyed it the first time and still love it to this day. To me the build up in Jaya is awesome then in Skypiea the payoff is great plus the purest OP adventure to me.
I see RUclips titles like this and it doesn't make me want to watch it, it just makes me wonder, what one piece fan is bashing any arcs? They're all great, they all have their little hidden details and nostalgia to them
@@BriggsADA In the internet all I read and hear is praise for it so it’s 50/50 I skipped the arc completely but watched the movie version of it about a year ago
Oh, we're sharing opinions on things we didn't watch? I didn't watch Avatar from James Cameron, but based on watching Titanic I'm comfortable saying that Avatar was terrible

I was not a fan of One Piece until Skypea (repeatedly dropped it in Alabasta). Luffys shadow at the end is what made me fall inlove with the series.

I feel like luffy didn't fight back when zoro was being injured too because zoro was displaying the same resolve/mindset.
Skypeia might be in my Top 5 Arcs of One Piece.
I'm the type where series I'm truly invested in like op. I can't skip anything even if it's hard to watch.

Imo alabasta was the first time one piece tapped into becoming political and introduced us to the politics of this world power balance etc

do you know how many lore the arc drop? even now we kept finding symbolisms and lore in this arc more than others with the newer chapters
