You know you're an adult when you start to get excited about home tools (and yes, I'm not including things like pillows or pretty things, I mean more like get a new vacum cleaner)
It's weird because I'm in my early twenties and I feel like I'm already entering that phase of my life. Like sure, concerts and tattoos and partying are great but also like that feeling of going into bed after you've put on fresh sheets, or getting a herbal tea organizer box or a brand new frying pan. Sometimes it feels like in some moments life slows down a bit and you get to notice and appreciate more those little everyday things
Because of these videos where Cherry gets excited over organization and home goods, I am not ashamed to say I made an exciting purchase recently. It’s an organizer that holds your broom and mop upright. It wasn’t super expensive and now my dang broom won’t fall out every time I open the closet door. Yay! 😁
Im also a mug person!!!! I got a mug tree for my counter and I fill it so I can use a different one each day to match my mood, I also fill it to sinc up with holidays or seasons, if one no longer gives me joy I will retire it to a charity shop……. I condone your mug obsession especially since they are something you use!!!
I have an idea for your mug addiction! Since you are opening your own shop and will probably have employees. You can bring some mugs to the shop and use them for coffee, tea, etc. as a way to be eco. friendly..... of course.
Honestly a deep muffin tin is the best addition to a kitchen - the size of yorkshire puddings.... deep pan mince pies! So many options with a deep tray on top of great muffins
Small purchases that inspire so much joy never needs justification. I totally agree with the tension spring loaded shower caddy. I have one and it works great. If I buy something and them immediately find something better, I either return for money back or I donate to our local thrift store. Then I don't feel guilty buying the better one.
I used to be a mug addict- buying every style and shape, but that all changed when I bought the Le Cruset Harry Potter mugs, best quality, size and theme ever, I am sorted for life 🥰 as a connoisseur of mugs I can say they are the perfect mugs!

I buy tons of mugs and I don’t ever throw them away (unless they get cracked beyond repair). I have a huge family so I get a lot of unexpected family visitors daily and they even bring their friends too… so I really have to be ready to serve them tea and coffee & even a tall glasses of water and ofcourse soda for the soda drinkers. And kiddie plastic sports bottles for anyone under 18 years old actually. LOL❤😂🎉😊 My house is always the hot spot for my family no matter if I am in my Alexandria Egypt house or in my Houston Texas house.

I got tired of my tea towels (to use your term) being stained by the kid's grabbing, or having me grab because OMG need it now! So I Walmart searched Bar Towels. They're a lovely thickness (for your significant other) and can be tossed around when needed but bleached if need be too. I grab them for my dishes and for my facial glasses! A little Dawn, wipe the lens off with the towel, lovely. Your candles sound very fragnant but I do wonder--where do you store them? You get so many!

I made the mistake once of putting a Monstera plant in a pot like that which had no holes on the bottom & the plant died from being too moist around its roots... I cannot see if your pot has holes in it - if it does not then you gotta be careful with watering... cos they do not like having a soggy bottom!! I stick to pots with drainage holes and a saucer underneath for my house plants these days - as I hate it when a baby of mine dies (yes plants can be babies too!!!)
About the mugs...now you can bring your most magical mugs to the shop (you would have to make hot drinks in cold days while working 👀) and then, you'll have more room in your cabinets, for new mugs... My brain is girlmathing so bad
