I have mained Dragunov since he came out in Tekken 6 (I know he was in that Tekken 5 add-on but I never played that). Considering he was B and A rank in Tekken 7, it's nice to see him so buffed in Tekken 8. They will probably nerf him eventually though. I'd still play him no matter what rank he is though. Absolute favourite character, he is just so damn COOL!
Only BoA can play like this with this nerfed character.

Kazuya is kinda considered bad tier in this game, and even if you think he's decent you gotta remember devil Jin is in the game so your kinda just pressed to play him instead

Wr2 you can literally jab or walk to the side on reaction and get a full 10 hit....while standing 2 is a punish tool, no one with sense is going to just throw that out...... Post said counter hit launcher.....kaz has a 50/50 from neutral. It's how I got him to Tekken king, this the first Tekken I've taken him this far.

Man, Drag gonna get the same treatment he got the past games. He’s top tier in everyone’s books and then they nerf his ass and he becomes low tier.

They’re mostly all gonna end up nerfed. It was the EXACT same thing in the first two seasons of Tekken 7. For proof, look at Leroy. He is bottom tier in this game, because he was a broken OP scandal in Tekken 7 when he first dropped.
I would NEVER EVER play an OP character - THEY ALWAYS ARE UNSTABLE, BECAUSE THEY START CATCHING REPEATED NERFS IN THE GAME! Anybody having played Leroy when he first came out can attest to this. He caught back-to-back nerfs FOR YEARS…..AND NOW HE IS GARBAGE.

NO - go play Shaheen, Lee, Nina etc., Don’t fall for a “sunken cost fallacy.” Put your training into a solid STABLE character. You’ll learn more, and play better. I personally suggest Shaheen as a first character. He even looks good. I don’t even play him, and I greatly approve of him. He’s ALWAYS been good AND solid - Namco doesn’t fuk with Shaheen.
Shit or top tier doesn't matter when a fuking panda won the tournament, just play what you think is funny and that's all.

0:23 any drag mains wanna explain how he stood up so fast out of sneak? i thought you had to do a move to get out of it
You can cancel sneak by tapping up, kinda difficult at the start but you'll get the hang of it with practice.
When drag goes in that low position in sneak mid animation press up and go back in neutal. Practice mode for like 10min youll get it down

@@davidhero1000 Knee also mentioned that Alisa is C tier in Tekken 7. JDCR and Knee with their Dragunov got destroyed at the ATL tournament. EM Yoshi has been dominating Dragunov. Dragunov is not broken.

Why JDCR rarely uses rage art
Bc rage art isn't the best option in the neutral. Very easy to read, and pros won't use strings as a round ender. A lot of the times also not worth using as a combo ender if it's not a guaranteed kill cause you lose damage, while being low in health.
It's like over using a dp if you do it too often people will just block it and make you feel silly
also keeping in rage mode means more damage with your abilities

Drag’s B4 should not be hitting grounded, that’s all
Or if it does it should only haben once. Dragunov has long legs so it makes sense that a mid might hit lower than it should, but it needs to only be possible once, like decent spacing, especially against the wall.
I disagree, Drag always struggled with his bad hitbox mids constantly getting crushed & not connecting so it only makes sense that b4 have low hitbox

Jdcr is one of the best tekken players in the world not only top drag player while boa isn’t even pro player😅also boa reached tgo in tekken7 but he stayed mostly at tg~tgp since he doesn’t care of his rank and he plays some boa things like 5 hell sweeps or something😂so I mean he can surely reach g.o.d and he’s skilled enough but maybe he had no time or just started rank push now

Nice Kazuya but I believe he should be using more f4 and ff3. Against this Dragunov soon realized he had to abuse more the new and faster low d1+2! He was respecting bit too much. Also who officialized #1 Kaz? You guys should see TMM Kazuya using cd cancel into df1,df2 and mid combo f4 spiking to the ground and guarantee ff4 if no quick stand.
Kazuya ws 13f launcher is broken in this game. It should be at least 14f
