Muhammad Ali was truly one of the greatest fightets, once I watched when he fought George Foreman and Muhammad said "that all you got George?" And George responded " yeah thats about it" they really loved each other. There will never be another like him, RIP Ty Jordan for taking me there 🙏
What an intro , I look forward to the your new project in the works with Gunner . CASSIUS CLAY. Muhammed Ali Will always be the greatest . I always enjoy your stories of him very informative , creative and classy. And what's this a 🐕 Dog Bar now that's a winner very nice 👍 find Jordan, look at Jah he was loving every moment 😀.
Hello Jordan i really enjoy this video about Muhammad Ali and his childhood home it was good to hear his story and about what he did after boxing. I really enjoy seeing jah at the dog park He looks like he was having so much and he met new friends. Thanks again Jordan for awesome video today.
Another wonderful episode. In a world of uncertainty it is always so great to see one of your videos and how neat that Jah got to go to the Dog Park Bar. He is one of the guys. I was lucky to meet Muhammad Ali when I was 12. He was so gracious. The hotels here in Vegas used to charge .50 to watch the sparring sessions before the big matches and I saw him there. He really was The Greatest.
A good personal friend of mine, Sonny Fishback, and also Rahman Ali (Muhammad's brother) they both gave me a tour of the house a few years ago. Sonny grew up with Rahman and Muhammad. It was a very special experience for me to walk through the Ali family home with Muhammads brother and another friend of the family sharing a lot of rare insights and stories. Actually what many don't know is Muhammad Ali was calling himself "the Greatest" when he was a teenager running the streets in Louisville. Sonny said when Muhammad was 15 - 16 years old running the neighborhood, he was telling all their neighborhood buddies ... "I'm the greatest. I'm going to be champion of the world someday". Even though he was boxing by then, naturally they all thought he was crazy. Then years later Muhammad went off to the Olympics and went on to be a pro fighter. Sonny said they all were looking at each other - "holy crap he actually did it". As for why the house is no longer open - it's because there was a group of investors interested in physically moving the Ali family home to a different location (thinking it might be better for tourism) naturally this involved a fight with those that wanted the Ali family home to stay in its original location, so at this point the home is sitting In Limbo.... its fate still undecided.
Another fantastic vlog 👏. Hahaha, did it say along the fence in the dog park "eat, sleep, poop repeat"!,not sure just noticed it behind Jah in a shot 😄.
l actually shook his hand in 1971 he was promoting "Ovaltine" in the the UK. l managed to scramble over about 30 construction workers onto a sugar stand ( it was in a supermarket) just as he passed l shouted his name very loud l stuck my hand out and he said "pleased to meet you....be careful that sugar stand is going to collapse " there was almost a disaster with people trying to say hello Ali was very concerned for the safety of everyone. Great man it was like a aura surrounded him charisma doesn't cut it he was a force of nature .He was so laid back and relaxed till people started getting hurt then he got serious. As far as his house is concerned it looks great so does the neighborhood a hell of a lot better then where l was born and brought up in Salford UK. Ali visited my home town quite a lot he had close friends here apparently. great vid.
The little pink house is something i made a point of seeing on a road trip 3 yrs ago. You can drive down the alley and see the open back yard. That is more likely where he sparred as a youngster.
Hope you enjoyed your visit to Louisville! I was surprised to see this in my subscriptions feed-- but realized after watching that you apparently have been here before! I found you by way of a Laurel Canyon rabbithole i found myself in, and have been subscribed ever since! That dog park bar is fun! I've been a few times-- and I agree, Cave Hill is one of my favorites too! Off to watch your previous Cave Hill vlog! Thanks Jordan!
God rest his soul Muhammad Ali was a man of men and he stood tall for what he believed and taller against injustice Sleep peacefully Champ🥊❤️🥊 Thank You Jordan for this amazing video
Thanks Jordan. Great Vlog. All in All Ali was a Great man. How he helped others later in life. I remember his daughter saying it took a long time for his heart to stop beating. I went wow. This Cemetery has a lot well known people here. I won't spoil it. Watching JAH having fun is Always a treat. My whole family love watching your videos. The men in my family live sports, all kinds of sport's. Again Thanks and Gratitude for another great video. I wonder why they build those houses so close together. I love a little more space. I guess back then time was different. Space was not thought of. Take care can't wait for the next video. My twin going to be jealous that I got to see this before her. As always, Peace, Love, Respect and positivity Always. Vee James.
Great job on this one! Just when you think you know the whole story you get the real story from you! Thank you for what you do and how you reach the content of all these historical events to us have a great day
I thought he was a great guy. nice looking man. what a beautiful resting place. RIP Ali. what a cool place for Jah the park. thanks for a great vlog. safe driving
I was a uniformed police officer with LAPD assigned to Wilshire Area between 1977-1981. I knew that Muhammad lived at the time in Fremont Place on Wilshire Blvd. One morning arround 3 AM my partner and I were driving slowly N/B Western Av north of Pico Bl and I saw Muhammad really slowly jogging N/B on the east sidewalk. He had on grey sweats and was wearing military boots. He was all by himself. I believe it was said that he was the only person that everyone in the world knew. When we saw him I could not believe he was alone. We did not bother him and left him to his thoughts. The City of Los Angeles was asleep and there was Muhammad Ali alone in his own world.
The Ali family used to live in my hometown of Berrien Springs, Mi and he put in McDonald's because he loved their burgers! I remember he would buy burgers for students after school sometimes. Very generous family! Mrs. Ali and daughter would jog by my childhood home!
Thanx Jordon, We love Ali in this house & really enjoyed this episode. Wow! What a great idea, a doggy cafe/ play area for our 4 legged friends. Good to see Jah living out & mingling with his new mates. This cafe reminded me of the pet store you used to take Jah into & he'd stand on the step @ the counter & be given a treat. I must say that Jah is looking as great as ever, as not unlike our Eleanor-Rigbey, they are gaining the lovely middle age spread. Our cheeky girl is now 10, so we refer to her as a senior. Lol. Please drive carefully & parts for Sir Jah.
Hey Jordan I had a question do you have a video on Malcolm X and his grave I would really like to see that on your channel since learning that Mohammed and Malcolm X were friends
@@DazewithJordantheLion OK I was just curious because you always do the best videos when you go to the grave and you’re always So respectful to the person that has passed away and I love hearing the fact that you know
Muhammad Ali was a wonderful human being who helped make this world a better place. Thanks Jordan for another wonderful vlog of his grave site and life.
Thank you Jordan I’m sorry I just didn’t know how to get this fixed I will do more investigating see what happens. I really want to stay in touch with what your doing and be more active :)
Foreman punched Ali so hard on the side of the ribs and even though it gave Ali internal bleeding he told foreman in the ring “Thats all you got” and foreman in his mind said.. yes.
Hi Jordan, that is a lovely set of photos on the porch, and I love the way they have displayed them. What a great photo of himself and The Beatles. I'm so pleased that Jah went to the Dog Bar, he really enjoyed that. Great vlog Jordan.
Good to see you in Louisville Kentucky my hometown, that home of Ali was supposed to a museum but not enough money to support it. Thanks for going to his grave and pay your respect. I'm not a boxing fan but you can get enough Ali in Louisville, they worship him. Lol thanks for sharing this video Jordan. If your still in Louisville Kentucky visit the Ali center near the Ohio river, it's a huge building.
I think I disagree that he didn’t train well for Ali Frazier 1. That fight was a 15 round fight and they pounded each other almost the entire time. Frazier had a potent punch when he connected and he connected solidly on Ali’s jaw and knocked him down. Ali popped up. He was in excellent condition for that fight. Even the announcers sad so. Both men were
ERROR note: Upon signing the contract starting his boxing career Ali's sponsoring group hired Archie Moore NOT Angelo Dundee. Dundee came later after Ali disagreed with Moore's training rules.
Jordan I have a ? I can’t get ahold of patreon I would like to see things and ask questions but I am still getting $ taken out but I can’t access it. I’m so confused.
I don't understand how that can be. It says you are a member.. try unsubscribing, then resubscribing to it.. it must be some sort of mishap. Nothing I can do on my end..
In my opinion, Ali did Frazier dirty. That’s why he lost, karma came back to him. Love Ali for his mark he left on this world, but the Islamic and racist things he believed against whites turned me off. He’s a great fighter and humanitarian, but that’s all I give him. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look it up. Great video though Jordan. Loved the dog bar !!!
Thank you Jordan he is the greatest man ever live there is only one if hes kind Ali he is the greatest
Jordan this is why I fallow you. I learned so much today about "the man", I understand him now. Thank you.
I remember when he lit the Olympic flame I had tears in my eyes. They could not have picked a better person to do it.
Muhammad Ali was truly one of the greatest fightets, once I watched when he fought George Foreman and Muhammad said "that all you got George?" And George responded " yeah thats about it" they really loved each other. There will never be another like him, RIP Ty Jordan for taking me there 🙏
Great Video. When I was a kid I use to idolize Ali. One of the best places I ever visited was the Ali Center. Amazing place.
Jordan should have gone there; maybe next time.
Always a great ride with you Jordan, thanks bro.
Great tour as always Jordan!! Ali hands down greatest fighter in my lifetime. Nobody comes close. Ali and Howard Cosell interviews are hilarious
Thanks for showing this Jordan.
Muhammad Ali and Ingemar Johansson were the only two fighters that I ever watched. Interesting vlog about Ali.

Thank you again, Jordan. Missed the premier by accident -- I was working in the yard and garden, oops. Excellent, as usual. This is your forte!

Thank you for doing this video about Muhammad Ali, but you didn't say anything about the song called, The black superman from the early 70's......
Ah dang Jordan if we’d known you were coming to Louisville we would have had you over for dinner!
