Wow, such a beautiful yacht….. putting the toys at the front of the yacht for me is common sense to free up the rear giving you so much space to sit and relax, that area with Jacuzzi is fabulous…..
23 million euros seems pricey is that because it's a feadship and totally rebuild. You can buy that DB9 Palmer Johnson that's for sale right now for 19 million
Everything about this yacht and this video is pure class! The music, the filming, the script, David in James Bond styling, and the Feadship; unbeatable combination. Thank you.
Oh. My. That deck at the top. That's what I like to see. Lack of a skylounge was initially rather off putting, but it does make a lot of sense to free up space not used all that often. Very family / interaction friendly. I do like it. And a blue furnishing colour that doesn't hurt the eyes nor blends into the background. Very well done.
The interior design of this yacht is just flawless. Absolutely perfect in every space. Would have been a real shame to lose all of that wood and make it look like a modern apartment. Great video of a magnificent vessel.
If the stewardess vacuums with laundry beads in the vacuum it makes the yacht smell nice. Back in my day, that didn't exist, but this new stuff called 'essentail oils' was coming ontomthe market, from France and the BVI's especially. So a few drops on a napkin inside the vaccum dirt collector made a difference and then a fine skimming on the AC vents also worked. And if you placed a dryer sheet in the AC unit, you could really give fresh scent. Then in a day or 2, add some of that 'essentail oil' stuff
An "80's feel" is not a bad thing when it is kept clean and cared for! This is another great yacht. It's also great to see you in the video. There's a true enthusiasm you provide that others do not. Thank you for the video!
David, another great video. Looking good my man. Off the milk shakes, I see ;) Man this thing is a dream. Half the price of the Feadship “FLAG.” Sure, a tad older, but man…. A real beauty.
That instant 80's feel. I love it. And the galley is superb. But it's also a yacht with an engine as old as the boat itself. Even if there would be no limit to the engine overhauls you can do, 575 HP still doesn't compare favorably to similar sized modern yachts which rarely come with less than 2,500 HP. I'm surprised Northrop & Johnson accepted to sell this yacht with no modifications to the powertrain, but I'm sure any potential buyer would be fully aware of the condition and factor it in.
I would respectfully suggest you consider this likely to be a low speed easily driven hull, where the emphasis was on maximizing range rather than top speed.
@@colbr6733 She has a displacement hull, just like nearly every Feadship yacht. You can scroll through the yachts built by Feadship and designed by De Voogt, and you'll find they have kept upgrading the engines. The hull didn't change, the purpose of the yacht didn't change, the range didn't change, but the engines changed significantly.
I always admire your videos and am in awe watching them. The boats always look fantastic. Whether they are for charting or for sale, it doesn't matter. The only problem I do have is that they are always boats that are not really suitable for people with disabilities. Like me in a wheelchair. I always wonder... How do I get on board, How do I get into the toilet\shower, how do i get to the lower level, where most times the sleeping facilities are... My wish is still to charter a yacht for a week or two in the mids, but the first problem I see: How to get onboard. Most passerelles are not suitable for a wheelchairs, and then the second problem is... to get inside the vessel. Etc. etc.... etc In any case, keep making these videos and hope that one day you can also make a video of a yacht that could be suitable for me, among others. Yeah i know... Maybe i'm just one of the 5% of people in the world that has these questions... but still... Because of your videos... I keep my dream alive.,
These Feadships keep giving, amazing upgrades looks new. Jet ski on the bow is a great idea. I'm surprised it's not done more. Ohh a proper pub onboard, just a dartboard missing. Lovely interior. Good job team David
This vessel and Explorer which your toured earlier this year are both excellent examples of vessels whose looks stand the test of time. They look as special today as they did when first built. Most vessels age fairly quickly.
Just Wow! Utterly stunning yacht. She oozes class and character. I do not know how Feadship do it, but their yachts remain at the top of the tree, even after many years. The refit is sympathetic and totally in keeping with the yacht. As ever David, thank you for the brilliant tour.
The 80ft Nordia Van Dam sailing ketch ' Ophira V' fulfills my needs. The 92ft Palmer Johnson ' Sunday Morning' andthe 78ft Spirit of Venice do, too. If I have to go for a motor yacht, I'd choose the Alucia/Odyssey, so I can also carry a helicopter and a submarine along. Short of that, the Ophira V, Sunday Morning, and Spirit of Venice, all, fulfill my needs.
It is a very very beautiful yacht. I had a question for people who charter a yacht, do you need special insurance? Children who break or damage, it must happen without doubt. One last note, I didn't know you had David Beckham's feet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Great video. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
No T.V. in the bedroom. Even though they are rarely used, but if you have kids, they get used for video games and music a lot. So thats kind of a negative. I've never heard an owmer say they don't use the skylounge, but you've definitely talked to more yacht owmers than me,
My dream boat is actually the sunseeker 131, however, if I had the money I would seriously consider this. Though I really don't know how much of a good idea it is to buy something so old, I watched something recently, possibly you, that said past a certain age, boats are deemed unsafe.
Thanks for your comment. Definitely not me that made that comment. If a yacht is well maintained and regularly surveyed there’s no reason to believe it unsafe.

I realise in this case a lot of things have been replaced or rebuilt anyway so as you say, it's almost a new boat. On the 131 I've always thought instead of the skylounge, still have the tv and bar but everything else a gym, maybe with a sofa also but predominately a gym with more than just treadmills and cardio stuff, enough stuff to deal with every muscle group.
I am so curious because in "almost" (95%) of property (land or sea) tours that feature a chess set, the pieces are set wrong! Apparently whoever is responsible for setting up a chess board does not actually play chess. So bizarre!
A fantastic older yacht but why do superyachts have rowing machines? They are missing a trick, do they not know that they are afloat? Why not have a proper rowing dingy, exercise, fun, explore and kids love them. My father had a MUCH smaller motor yacht when I was growing up. It had a proper clinker rowing dingy, I explored every harbour and bay we ever anchored in.
for your info, those REINFORCEMENTS are bulwark stays, if you ae going to sell ships, get up to speed, because your lack of marine, terms is abysmal AND BTW, the stays like this cannot be painted between the hull plating and the flat bar stays, a rust trap
Just in love with these classic 'Gentleman' Yachts and even more so when its a FeadShip.
Absolutely love the lines of the classic Feadships. Iconic!

Yeah ,good point, things have to look appropriate when doing refits...

Aft cabins excellent in rough seas. Lovely refit.
Looking very dapper, David! Fab tour of a gorgeous yacht. Thank you
Love love that blue on the seats in the first min. The colours blended with the woodfinish is 💯💯

Absolutely stunning, the interior is so tastefully designed and surely all anyone would desire! 👏👍😀

Do these yachts ever move? Are they always docked?
Fantastic, great video

Sorry I dont see it for 23 million. Its on the verge of being 'classic' but still just looks kind of old.
Yep- overpriced for value comparisons.
But the owner just trying to recover the costs of the "no expenses spared re-fit"...
Knowing about boats only from what I see here, the price seems ludicrous.

Why hot towels upon boarding the boat?I would think something cool nit hot
Nice yacht.t wish I had enough money to buy something like that and cruise disease but none of money none of time but it doesn't night Yacht.
A lot of old world charm about it. ♡

Although a beautifull yacht, a few bits overpriced I think.

I assume you’re having a bad day?
Interesting- so is it just bare stainless steel where it's not painted.
Now I know...
It is a beautiful refit but being a '66, albeit with rebuilt engines, generators etc, to my mind, it is horrible overpriced.
Still the most overpriced Feadship by a country mile...this should be 10M less.
How much charter work do the stinky yachts get?
In summer they run non -stop almost- they make literally tons of cash during peak season...
Who wants to be part of the metal furnaces making business and crystallizing volcano business
No engine room?
Did you watch to the end of the video? There’s quite a lot of footage and details of the engine room.
Rubber band powered...
JHChrist, that bloody noise (music?) was fecking annoying. At least stop playing while you talk.
I muted the vid!
I can buy this yacht for twice its price, but under two conditions
Daniela Boutsen is the wife of former F1 driver Thierry Boutsen. .
I clicked on this vid hoping to see a 66inch yacht
That would make one very quick walkthrough video!
Can't see 23m anywhere I'd genuinely offer 3
Cost of refit was quite prohibitive- but 3 million is a bit low ball.
Maybe 6???
Recent price drop from totally unrealistic level of 23m by 5m but still probably 5m over priced.
I like Feadship, but I can not get over the exposed ribs. That alone is why I would never buy one.
Looks like a cargo ship?-right?.
expensive
Don't buy whole yacht is refurbished
So what?
That’s not worth 23 million.
€23 Million seems like a lot of money for that yacht unfortunately
Believe it or not it's a very respectable asking price. But as with anything that's for sale the price can be or is negotiable.
I have to agree.
@@douglashagedorn7717I do not think it is a reasonable price at all. I would put it in the $8-10 million range.
@douglashagedorn7717 that's way overpriced. There are Heesen and trinity yachts that are newer and bigger for less.
True... But those are not Feadships...
The boat is way over priced!!!!!
It's a Feadship, lol...!
