Sara was perfect in LAK. The character is supposed to be loud, brash, attention-seeking, and frustrated because of her insecure attachment with her mom, and this mother-daughter dysfunction was portrayed beautifully in the film. But Desis aren't ready for lead female characters to behave this way. SAK's self-criticism might be true for herself personally, but it should not be an indictment of the LAK film, or her performance in it.

No it wasn’t.. yoga was practised by vagabonds and they used weed to feel liberated from the worldly forces. We didn’t understand mental health illnesses like we do now.
Issue is that it was still treated as stigma because if someone was diagnosed to be having some sort of mental health issue , their parents went frantic and think someone’s calling their child crazy.
@@Honeybear0488 correct & where do you think the act of exorcism & stuff comes from. Back in the days people relied on their faith and the clergy to heal them. So when someone acted out of ordinary it was taken to the clergy & they would think the person is possessed. In reality, if you ask anyone with mental illnesses, like say depression or anxiety disorder or bipolar disorders, they will tell you, that they don’t feel like themselves. Today, as we understand mental illnesses better, we know that Disassociation is one of the symptoms. Yeah, she's a bad actor!
Sara is insufferable, especially while trying to make Vikrant uncomfortable. She doesn’t even have enough talent as his pinky finger, and to have him sit there and sing praises for her is laughable and absurd.
It was vikrant who hv said these things abt sara in a previous solo iv , where sara isn't present to sing praises for her for vikrant. Here anupama brought the topic not sara. If vikrant is so uncomfortable to praise her he should hv just ignore the topic in his previous iv only. Sara even said she don't blame vikrant for what he thought abt her lmao

@@humorme2432 that's his take not mine
Sara was perfect in LAK. The character is supposed to be loud, brash, attention-seeking, and frustrated because of her insecure attachment with her mom, and this mother-daughter dysfunction was portrayed beautifully in the film. But Desis aren't ready for lead female characters to behave this way. SAK's self-criticism might be true for herself personally, but it should not be an indictment of the LAK film, or her performance in it.
Actually so true. It's fine for a Ranbir to do Tamasha, but problematic and 'meme' worthy when Sara does a lak. Gotta re-watch it.
Well she was awfully bad in love aj kal, nobody could connect to her at all and she didn't even understand the character. Stop sugar coating things on the basis of interviews and start judging acting for acting.
@@srabonipatnaik she was terrible..if u can’t differentiate between her acting in love Aaj kal and Ranbir’s acting in Tamasha, then u don’t understand good acting at all..even Karthik was awful..better comparison would be to watch Saif and deepika in the original love Aaj kal..
Imtiaz made a good movie which sara ruined with her bad acting.

4:30 and the image brushing started...let her work speak naa. What can I say to Vikrant, as kjo says "Kaam to unke saath hee karna naa"
Yeah exactly I felt same vibe when I saw Rajkumar praised Sonam when they worked together 😂
Wow that was a hell of an awkward interview to watch
Chitrangda is so sensib & classic
Interview had a great start with Chitrangda misunderstanding Anupama straightaway. Nice.
Guys plz let vikrant messy talk😅
Sara and chitragandha fight of words
Mental health has always been in our culture, otherwise things like yoga, mediation, wouldn't have existed from time immemorial.
I feel for the past generations which was misdiagnosed , institutionalised or went through the ordeal of superstitious acts to heal.
Hume bhi maaf kar do sara ji, hum bhi koffee with karan mein dekhar apko acha actor samajhna ki bhool kar diye.
Sara Please interrupt a bit less!
Did anybody noticed that Sarah Ali Khan is covering her cup of coffee why? Does she think chitrangada singh will spit on it while she is speaking so disrespect from Sara ali khan. She would never do this to a big star
Sara is not a big star, she only has media hype
@@k-8511 Exactly. Sara is just a temporary sensation which has started fading after the failure of Love Aaj Kal. Right now only Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani can be considered as superstars.
Yes, an actor can be excellent at interviews, can be the best human as well, maybe the best dancer too.. But I dont consider them good if they can't act well. That is their only job and comes foremost. Yes, it is wonderful that she has opened up about insecurities and everything, but as an actor as long as she will not act well, she doesn't have an ounce of my respect. Brutal but true
@@monsteridle3520 she was awfully bad in it ... honestly she's not even talking a bit about acting or craft...she's all about image building.
