The only member of junoon band present here was Dr. Salman who was the one playing electric guitar, he's known to be the best guitar 🎸 player in Pakistan. It has that classic early-CS trance vibe with a legendary folk singer. The love story is called Sassi Punnun; basically Punnun was a prince who fell in love with the peasant girl Sassi. His brothers plotted to separate them and on their wedding night they got Punnun drunk and then carried him back across the desert to their kingdom on a camel. Sassi realized that they had taken him and tried to follow on foot, but she got lost and died in the desert before Punnun could come back and find her. Legend has it that Ali Azmat was invited but due to his bipolar attitude and supposed fued with Salman Ahmed, he backed out. I am glad he backed out. This version is entirely too multi-dimensional, rich and complex for a simple singer like Ali Azmat.
