Good video young men!! Congratulations on the new tractor i just bought a new 3520 kioti shuttle shift yesterday have 3 hours on it i mowed my lawn with my finish mower i really love the tractor so far. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
I own the same tractor, its been very good to me and has had no issues. My biggest grip though is all the gease points and the quick attach broke on me (my fault) at then end of the day, if I were to buy another machine, it would be another Kioti, instead of the CK series, I'd lean into the DK on my next go around which will prob be in 25 years lol. My advice is get the tires filled and 3rd function valve at the dealer before you take delivery
I didn't want my rops warning lights to be broken off like I was sure they would be yet I didn't want to move them to the fender. I went to the local scrap iron yard and purchased the shortest piece of old 5 inch ID oilfield pipe line they'd sell me. Took it to the local welding shop and has them bandsaw two, 2 inch long pieces off. I drilled a hole in one side of each to accommodate the threaded stub on the light housing and mounted the lights inside the pipeline pieces after bolting them to the ROPS using the same holes on the lights base mount. The 5 inch pipe is perfect for the lights with a quarter inch space all around. Super sturdy. They've caught many a limb and have never bent or broken.
As always Chris your videos are very informative on the subjects and have good insight as to tools, tractors that's being used around the wood yard..great job
The lock out is for the bucket lever only, it doesn’t lock out the hydraulics. The bucket can still leak down or slam down on your noggin. Ck3510se love mine so far! Thanks for the video
I've got the 2020 CK3510SE, 88 hours so far. Other than warm-up periods, I always run it 2000 or above, it still regens every 30 hours. I don't believe anyone that says it won't regen if you keep the RPM's up. I love the tractor, it's been a workhorse and hasn't disappointed me yet.
Most times(except when running the PTO) I run mine at 1800 rpm which, I believe, is peak engine torque. When it it regens every 32 -34 hours I simply move the throttle up to the 2200 (540 pto) rpm mark and keep on working. After about 10 minutes it finishes. There's no need to stop working if the regen light glows solid. Only when it flashes should you stop and do a manual regen.
Tony has both a nice clear cadence to his voice along with a vocabulary to compliment his explanation. He was probably a patient mentor to others in his career.

@@InTheWoodyard Yeah, if a hydraulic line breaks while the loader is up, the system will lose pressure and the loader will drop, even if the lockout is engaged. Always best to use the angle iron.

First is that small black lever near the floor, on the right side of the seat, you say is a lock to keep the loader bucket safely up while holding some load and preventing it from accidentally go back down if, for instance, we are to get off the tractor for a moment. Good morning Chris!! 😀😀 Seems like Tony is very pleased with his tractor so far. It's a really nice LITTLE tractor. I still think that the next size bigger framed tractor would be better for you. A full cord of green oak logs weighs approximately 5500 pounds. So if you put a face cord in a IBC tote you are looking at just under 2000 pounds of weight to lift. You really don't want to be maxing out your tractor all the time. If you go with the next size bigger. They handle 2000 pounds with ease. My Mahindra 2555 will pick up 2 large square bales of hay that weigh about 800 to 900 pounds each with out any hesitation . Like Tony said that you should get one the next size bigger than what you think you can get by with. It would be nice if Tony could bring his Kioti over and we could do some side by side lifting comparisons. Take care my friend!!😀😀TTYL!!
Nice explanation of the Kioti! I have been in the market as well for a sub-compact 22-26 HP machine and I’m very impressed with the Kioti. Unfortunately it is one of the few brands we don’t have access to in our town. The closest Kioti dealer is an hour + away☹️ Dealer accessibility is important. I like how he said I’m not disappointed at all let’s see if he still feels that way when it’s 35 below zero with a 50 mile an hour wind blowing snow I bet he wishes he had a cab with heat
Chris, You may want to double check your numbers on green wood. A cord can be 5000-6000 not 2400. This would put an IBC tote plus the weight of the forks right at lifting capacity on the daily. I just ordered a DK for this exact reason instead of a CK. As always, great vid.
Great job, I am sold , I will see that they send you a commission check. Lots of very good information. When you purchase a nice tractor like this one . Do you also have the send all the filters and oil for three or four changes ?
I never knew that the SE model didn’t come with a clutch. I have a CK as well non SE model which is also a hydro model and mine does have the clutch on the left foot. I would miss that for sure because when shifting from neutral it goes into gear much smoother when you depress the clutch.
The CK4010SE does come with a clutch if you order the shuttle shift model. I know. I have one. More PTO horsepower. No hydrostatic transmission whine. More direct drive power.
What is the name of the place you get your attachments from? I keep trying to find it in the vidoe again and i cant find the part when uou say the name.
A major convenience on my prio Kioti CK was that I could leave the three point hitch on the machine and still connect my backhoe. On my grand L Kubota, the hitch has to come off… need wrenches and time to put the implement on and off…. A bit of a pain
Tony's informative walk around on the Kioti was prolly one of the best I've yet to see which is very good and a great help to others who maybe looking to buy a compact tractor.
Nice little tractor! I don't know if there was ever a price mention on this? I got a quote for a new Massey 2760E and it was right around 30k fully loaded and with a grapple. But I think I'm going to keep my current Massey and get a cheaper used skid steer
the 1 thing I did to my tractor was put a mesh wire grill guard on it. and a quick hitch even though I have the extendable links ,a quick hitch will spoil you.
While having the bar welded for the right side step, it would be nice to fabricate a removable box to shileld those hydraulic valves. Those exposed hoses are going to take a beating on the right side. Better to have a sharp object rubbing against metal than rubber.
Excellent and clear overview and discussion of features and things to consider. Did wheelbase or footprint width for stability enter your evaluation between CK and NX series?
I believe Tonys big decision was the fact that he wants to take his tractor across the state to another property to work the soil for food plots so he wants to be able to transport it easily.
@@InTheWoodyard That is a good point. If you have several properties to tend and a lot of mileage to ride, a small ck Kioti is easier to tow about in a trailer than a larger, heavier model of tractor.
Am I just missing something on the tractor series? This is a CK and you keep referring to the NX as the next level up but the DX is there in the middle of them not to mention the new NS that may start showing sometime in the future.
Nice tractor looks like the one for you like he says he done a lot of home work here and other you tubers have this type logging have a good think all so he saying it does not rip up the "yard"?
Just returned the wood processor to dyna they have three kioti tractors they got rid of thier kobots. They use thier tractors at the factory to move the processors around the yard an move wood to test thier processors.they have cab versions off the 40hp kioti
the lock is so the loader lever doesn't get bumped and the loader comes down on someone. I don't think the blue lock locks the loader arms from coming down. if you lose hdry. its anybody's guess I would not want to be under the hood with a load or under the bucket. I've owned one for 3 yrs now.. Even the cruise you need to tell people if you hit the brake pedal it will shut off but mine will but still moves very slow so I have to hit the brake twice and then it doesn't jerk the crap out of you. The next one I get will be a shuttle shift. I like the gear drive. You'll lern as you win it. Make sure you check your bolts you may have a good dealer. Mine will never see them again after 4 times and came back worse than it left.
I still think you should get a tractor that can lift 2500 lbs. Then you can do bags and totes someday. Btw the larger 375 gallon totes hold 3/4 of a facecord and the bags hold a full facecord.
Great review. Your presentation style was not like you're a dealer rep. From my limited knowledge I can't think of a reason why you would purchase anything else. I would hope a mtr marketing dept would help you on price considering your channel growth and quantity of vids
@@InTheWoodyard I doubt that. How many min of viewing do you post per week compared to others. Mfts marketing isn't on tv, it's online. Throw an idea to them with how many viewed minutes you've had in previous 90days.

Not quite as big a the old time farm tractor but substantially bigger than your brothers.😀 Whatever you get I’m sure you’ll be happy with it because you’ve done your homework. Have a good day sir. God damn how crappy would it be to just be playing farmer. Growing up on a 3rd gen cattle ranch and feed growers, anyone that knew you would disown you if they found out you took your new tractor to the dealer to have your caution flasher relocated , or even to have your tires weighted. Only time the dealer got there hands back on my tractor is if it was catastrophic and under warranty
Your genetics will be lame for the rest of eternity if you don't pick the right color!!! * that looks like a great tractor to me as long as the dealer is good

the 1 thing I did to my tractor was put a mesh wire grill guard on it. and a quick hitch even though I have the extendable links ,a quick hitch will spoil you.
That sounds like some good things to put on it! Thanks!
While having the bar welded for the right side step, it would be nice to fabricate a removable box to shileld those hydraulic valves. Those exposed hoses are going to take a beating on the right side. Better to have a sharp object rubbing against metal than rubber.
That is a good idea David!
If you have several properties to tend and a lot of mileage to ride, a small ck Kioti is easier to tow about in a trailer than a larger, heavier model of tractor.
good companion there!! great info!! good vid chris!!
Thanks Mike!
Chances are high you'll get an Kioti I figure :D
You figure right!
I knew too !
I have a 2610,love it!
Yes they are nice tractors!
Am I just missing something on the tractor series? This is a CK and you keep referring to the NX as the next level up but the DX is there in the middle of them not to mention the new NS that may start showing sometime in the future.
You are correct, Tony's is the CK4010 and mine is the next size up, the DK4710 and the next size up from mine is the NX series.
@@InTheWoodyard Very cool, I have a NX6010 and it is great 😊
Nice tractor looks like the one for you like he says he done a lot of home work here and other you tubers have this type logging have a good think all so he saying it does not rip up the "yard"?
Yes it is a good one but I need one a little bigger!
Good job Tony , you too Chris. Wood hounds have to have toys.
Yes they do, and Tony has a bunch!
Pat's tire in Chilton has the best price on rim guard.
Good to know, thanks!
Hello bro!! How many HP of this tractor?
I think it is a 40hp
Man, Tony has some great stuff!!! Seems like a nice tractor.
Yes he does, once again we where talking about you in a video we did yesterday about Tony's Fiskasr collection, it was all good!
@@InTheWoodyard did I miss the other one or is it still coming?
@@KillingerUSA It is still coming, we did several on two different days.
@@InTheWoodyard enjoying the series! Keep em coming!
Just returned the wood processor to dyna they have three kioti tractors they got rid of thier kobots. They use thier tractors at the factory to move the processors around the yard an move wood to test thier processors.they have cab versions off the 40hp kioti
Did they say why they switched?
Great video guys!
Thanks for watching Gerry!
awesome review,
Glad you enjoyed it!
How much did it cost???
I do not know but my guess is about 20-22k?? I have a dk4710 and it was 26k if I remember right.
Is your tractor going to be under roof ? Just thinking cab ?
Yes eventually I will have a roof for it.
Sold!!!! Great video again now I want one dam it Ha! Looks like you are get one too Ha!
Thanks for watching, soon you will see.
Great video 👍
Thanks!
Good morning from Grand Forks
Good morning to you too Dean!
Your friend good salesman he sold it to me lol the company needs to give him a free service on his tractor for sure
I am sure he would take it!
I have the same tractor! It’s a beast! Love it.
Very nice!
the lock is so the loader lever doesn't get bumped and the loader comes down on someone.
Thanks for watching!
What business was Tony in before retiring?
It was briefly hinted at early in the first video, but they dropped it..i
He was a sales manager for Fiskars.
Sales manager for Fiskars.
I heard nothing but good stuff about the Kioti tractors
Same here!
On mine, the horn is much louder when the motor is running, weird.
I will have to test mine I never noticed!
Is it made in the U.S.A. ?
No, ALL tractors smaller than about 75 HP are made over seas. ALL.
I still think you should get a tractor that can lift 2500 lbs. Then you can do bags and totes someday. Btw the larger 375 gallon totes hold 3/4 of a facecord and the bags hold a full facecord.
That is the plan!
Great review. Your presentation style was not like you're a dealer rep. From my limited knowledge I can't think of a reason why you would purchase anything else. I would hope a mtr marketing dept would help you on price considering your channel growth and quantity of vids
Dale that would be nice but it is not likely....yet. First I have to give a bunch of time and effort to get, we will see.
@@InTheWoodyard I doubt that. How many min of viewing do you post per week compared to others. Mfts marketing isn't on tv, it's online. Throw an idea to them with how many viewed minutes you've had in previous 90days.
does tony have a channel?
No, but you will see a lot of him right here!
@@InTheWoodyard i just bought a ck4010se w/kioti 3rd function...
Hello from Piqua Ohio .
Hello Stan!
ty great
thanks!
Did Tony sell you on this tractor. Sounds pretty nice.
Nope, it is not big enough for me but I do like the color!
Sounds like Kubota time to me. My cousin started with a mini Kubota and worked his way up to the bigger one, don’t remember the model but it’s one heck of a machine. Not quite as big a the old time farm tractor but substantially bigger than your brothers.😀 Whatever you get I’m sure you’ll be happy with it because you’ve done your homework. Have a good day sir. GNI
You always want more bigger better. When you gather wood for a campire and you think you have enough, get ten times more.
Sounds like a real man talking there!
I don't like how the loader hydraulic hoses are on the outside of the loader arm I'd RIP them off In no time but looks nice
That might be a good project to come up with a way to cover/protect them.
Chris you better get a canopy. And why in the world do they make the seats black. Going to be a nut roster lol.
I like roasted nuts though! HA!
Sounds like you should have go with the DK series instead... None the less, congratulations
Actually I am thinking the NX series
@@InTheWoodyard just go for it, life is too short
🤘
Thanks Jeff!
The Kioti dealer here loads tires for free if tractor comes with loader.
That is really nice!
Nx is the ultimate
That s what I am looking at.
Okay.
Very thorough, get a bigger one 🤪
That is the plan!
White oak is 5573lbs green!!!
Yes it is some HEAVY stuff!
🚜 👍
Soon!
Your genetics will be lame for the rest of eternity if you don't pick the right color!!!
* that looks like a great tractor to me as long as the dealer is good
HA! Yes, I would agree with you on that!
green cord of oak weighs about 5000 lbs
Yup, that is correct!
