Phoenix are still killing it! Their sound has evolved a bit into a bit more electronic sound, but still iconic Phoenix: danceable, tight rhythms, and catchy as all hell. This is one of my favorite songs I've heard in a while!
I have the most sentimental attachment to Phoenix as a band, discovering them at a friend's student apartment in Paris and seeing them play live at Bastille Day that same week. Wolfgang Phoenix will always be one of my all time favorite albums, brings back so many warm feelings and fond memories as do all their albums.
what's cool about Phoenix is that they're an indie rock band informed and conceptualized their work w/ Classical music w/c is mostly heritage of their French sensibilities.

Phoenix never ceases to amaze! So underrated. Their songs are always great , the music and lyrics and how they place everything together. Can't wait for the release of the whole album and the sketches of the whole album like the ones they usually do since Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Bankrupt! and Ti Amo
I was lucky enough to see them in some really irrelevant, anonymous provincial town just days after they won their Grammy for Best Alternative Album. A few months from that, they suddenly headlined the biggest European festivals there are ... and rightly so, of course.
Saw them last at the RUclips in Inglewood. They sound amazing in the records but live they are incredible, amazing, 1000 times better. If you are a Phoenix fan is almost criminal not to go see them live. Your welcome!
young me would’ve been so happy. now i’m older, working, busy with life… never knew this collaboration happened or was happening. getting older definitely comes with abandoning what you once loved. i’m back, i’m trying!
@@musicman5375 no way you're saying Ti amo is Better than Wolfgang Amadeus lol Armistice , Girlfriend, Lasso, Rome, Fences Love like a Sunset 1&2 Wolfgang is Phoenix at its peak
@@nones100 For me, I'd rank their last 3 albums as such: 1. Bankrupt! 2. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix 3. Ti Amo But I love all 3 and consider those 3 the standouts of their awesome discography.
They remind me of a time when bands were good, male musicians had shaggy hair rather than slick their hair back with too much gel, women wore skinny jeans with side parts instead of baggy pants with center parts, TikTok was not invented, and fascism seemed dead. Let's bring that back.

This band is using my name. Let me think about that.... .... ..... ..... I approve, but only because the song is good. You can let the band know. I'm sure they'll be relieved some rando on the internet like me is cool with them. 🤪😂
Phoenix are one of the strangest bands ever! They are from France and sing no songs in French. That makes no sense! And they are the only French band to have any success in the West outside of France. I’d like to hear them sing one song or even album in French. 😊🎃

They've always used synths heavily. I think it fits them
"After midnight" is really good from this album too

Phoenix and Vampire Weekend, 2 of my favorite groups come together here
Yet the views and listens are dying off because everyone likes absolute tosh music
Their last album Ti Amo is a straight pop masterpiece, Goodbye Soleil is a perfect song to me
agreed. In decades to come, people will study their last 3 albums as perfect examples of the pop music craft
Lot of people shit on that album but I think it’s amazing
A true pop perfection álbum ❤️
Goodbye soleil was my fave on the album too!
Tuttifruti is different class. But there's too many bangers off Ti Amo: Tutti, Goodbye, J-Boy, Ti Amo, Lovelife
I love the delay effect on his voice.
i was thinking about this too!
Very subtle
Went to see Phoenix over the summer, they are one of those bands that sound even better live!
Thomas and Ezra together! What a power couple. I would love to see more collaborations!

Ti Amo might be my favorite song by them. They were so great live when I saw them touring that album. Hoping they announce a winter date in Arizona.
I just saw them in Boston two nights ago!! They’re such amazing performers I can’t stress it enough

saw them in nyc a week ago and god damn they’re amazing LIVE
His voice actually got better
I cannot agree enough - I was lucky enough to catch their tour opener (in St Paul) and it was beyond transcendent

Phoenix and Stephen Colbert - that's two of my favourite things coming together right there.
Let's go! Such a Ezra bass riff. Great job guys
The lads still got it!!!
one of France greatest export.
Wow!!! Sounds great Phoenix still doing it. I love Ezra, a natural combination. Like peanut butter and jelly LOL
Their Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix record was a classic and mixed by the late Phillipe Zdar, glad they’re back.
Agreed and check out their two albums after Wolfgang (if you haven’t) they’re also superb
I am missing Zdar, still.
@@wotzatfa you and me both
Holy mother of God PHOENIX! Concert in NYC was surreal! We appreciate your music!!!!!
Man, Phoenix is seriously too awesome
Oh I can hear the vampire Weekend vibes in this performance.
Oh wow. I didn't even put that together! It does have that vibe.
It sounds like Phoenix
Phoenix with vampire guitar riff
I love this band.
Not gonna lie I was expecting Ezra to jump onto stage during his verse
First time I've ever heard of them! Excellent sound! So glad I watched Stephen and discovered Phoenix!
Have fun digging into a deep catalog of great music!
Lucky boy
I enjoyed that quite a lot. Gonna listen to it again.
they are my favourite indie electro band super sweet will definitely be looking into their new album later this year!
😭 loved them since Wolfgang. Still so good ❤️❤️
First heard Phoenix in 2000 when United came out on astralwerks. They’ve seriously only gotten better and better.
saw them live in LA, literally best of concert of my life
The album is a masterpiece. Perfect change up from Ti Amo
Phoenix never disappoints, do they?

I didn't know Phoenix was still around. I still remember them from those Lizstomania 1901 days.
