I said, since you missed it the first time numb nut, if the product was worth buying he would have purchased it himself. Especially when that's what he does for a living. Since he didn't it tells me the product isn't worth buying. Which is exactly what I told galen leather when I canceled my order. I let them know since they have away the products to youtubers unwilling to buy the products themselves they certainly aren't worth my money either. When I see RUclips videos from youtubers whom pay for their products I might reconsider purchasing.

Beautiful choices! My A5 undyed has been in daily use for about 6 months. As my hobonichi avec grows, the folio has stretched with it. I don’t use the 4 pen insert but have it in my desk with inked pens. The zip folio is a beautiful workhorse. The A6 cover you purchased is gorgeous. I love that design and am looking at getting an A5 as an art journal. It’s sturdy and seems to suit that purpose perfectly! A friend of mine has had theirs for 5 years and the elastic is STILL going strong! Beautiful products!

Galen Leather is very good value for money. Their tan and brown labels were very confusing at first because their tan is brown for me and brown is tan. The only bits I am unsure about in the A5 folio zipper cover is their use of glue, the lining isn’t leather, and the key chain thingy is plastic and not metal. But, for the price, I don’t mind too much.

I would totally buy one if it didn't have the elastic. I'd be fine with a removable elastic all around, but that large band inside the leather throws me off. Thankfully the field notes version doesn't seem to have it
I got the A5 in the Blue leather they did. I just cannot get over why they’ve made them with no spare room. If you fit an A5 book, then only 1 pen and you’ll struggle to get the zip closed. So to put more pens in it and they get crushed against the book to get it zippered up. It’s just not got enough room in for me. Mine is unused now, which is sad.
This comment is old but I have the same zip folio. I have a Leuchttrum 1917 hardcover in mine. If you put the pen holder with pens in it on top of the closed notebook cover and then zip it up, everything fits perfectly with no bulging, and no pens getting crushed against the notebook.
@@Richard_Barnes yes. I have an Eco, a 580 and 2 metros in the slots. I keep a travelers notebook calendar insert in that front secretarial pocket, too, and it all fits. I do have just an emergency ballpoint and mechanical pencil in those two loops sewn into the folio, so nothing major. But it all fits and doesn't look misshapen or lumpy.
