Hollis is a good ole boy. One of the few pure souls in the world.
When I was a teenager I worked at an ice retail dock that also sold watermelons. The varieties that were sold were black diamond, Charleston grey, and a few seedless. They were trucked from the Rio Grande Valley to north central Texas. A truck would pull up and off to sell watermelons and the manager would agree and buy a hundred or so. Then we started unloading them with a chain of men pitching them from the truck to the ice dock and into the storage room. Strangely, we always dropped the last one and had to eat it to prevent waste.
Hollis and Nancy were truly blessed. Not because of what they are doing, but seeing how their minds and hearts are, how they just want to help with information for us and food for their community. Btw... is it me, or does it seem Hollis is a really mellow cat? I can imagine NOTHING in this world bothering him! Lol!
I hauled bulk blackkow back in the day.
WOW! I am so glad that I found your amazing channel. I am a new gardener and I’m only gardening in containers due to lack of yard space. But I feel like your channel will provide me with so much information and knowledge well beyond anything I’ve ever imagine. Everything is so well explained and executed. Very easy to follow along ! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place to learn!
It just amazes me how much you grow in all that sand!
I hope you keep these drawings and journal entries to pass on to someone one day. The Wealth of knowledge in that journal is priceless!
Hollis, your notebook is awesome. If you published it, I’d buy it. I’m always impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail in all of your projects. Also, you have really excellent handwriting.
Glory to God for your continued sharing of gardening and God’s Word. Watching you plant watermelon 🍉 refreshed my soul
Thanks to you both for all your hard work and letting us be a part of it. May the Lord bless you with a great harvest.
I just love your channel. You are very uplifting. I always say your closing prayer with you. 🤗
So happy to see the Watermelon going in. One of the first videos I saw from you and one that got me hooked. From Virginia to Florida, I'm HOOKED
Love your inspiration and message! I'm a fellow Floridian😁🌞
I love that you break it all down with the how and whys, and that you take the time to do from seed to harvest videos!
I just love you two. You guys go slow and let us all know things that you do to have a nice watermelon patch. Thank you. I love how at the end you say short blessing.
We've tried watermelon so many times & I had no clue you needed a pollinator watermelon!
Hey, I love watching you all in your garden! Wish I had recognized my love for gardening when I was younger. Recently had an opportunity to move to farm country next door to my sister and we have started a larger garden together. What used to take one of us to get the job done now takes two! I am enjoying every moment spent in the garden next year we are starting a small orchard and building a green house to expand our efforts. Please keep posting videos, often times I don’t t have time to read so I always refer to your videos for advice and instruction. Such a wonderful couple and Bing Bing adds a touch of sweet nostalgia for us having had Jack Russell’s in the family. God bless you and keep you safe.
Thank you Mr. HOLLIS FOR TEACHING US WITH BASIC INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION YOU JUST CAN'T FIND IN A BOOK.
So cute to watch them work together!
