Thank you so much brother for giving these locations! I haven't trout fished since I was a kid and I wanted to take my son but wasn't sure of an exact locations.
I’m not sure why I never thought about the “ole man rope” idea, but what a great idea! I’m in my late 50s and climbing in and out of some of the places we fish is getting harder and harder. I especially feel it in the couple of days afterwards. I’ve now got three different size ropes in my truck tool box ready to go! Thanks for the great content!
You show a couple places for wheelchair users to fish. How about a video of you fishing from the handicap locations on bridges, walkways and other wheelchair accessible spots. I would appreciate it and I bet you would get a lot of interest from handicapped and elderly viewers
That part of the Raven Fork by the Pentecostal church is where I caught my first Rainbow. Now we come up every year. Will be there the third week of July. Hope to see you out there.
You can get bait in most of the stores in town. Crickets I usually bring a tube with me with a small potato cut inside. Rivers Valley Store on Big Cove Road has great selection of spinners and darn good hotdogs. Rivers Edge Outfitters on 441 has gear. The Smokey Mountain Expressway hwy 74 Outpost Mountain Outfitters is good.
@@HeeyManFishing Im working near Nashville this weekend, hope to travel toward home (Charlotte, NC) either Tuesday or Wednesday and stop to fish for a day. If you can offer any additional recommendations of where to stop and fish that would be great.
I got 4 episodes out. They all are on location. Check them out, the directions are I the video. Good luck. Let me know in comments if you hit one of the locations.
Hey man I just went to Cherokee for the first time a couple days ago and caught a couple trout. I was using some of the pautzke bait and I was wondering if you think that actually works good. Also I was thinking about doing that tournament on the 13th and 14th have you tried doing those?
Great video and Thank you again for sharing, sir. There are tons of fishing spots in Cherokee and it can be overwhelming at times. Finding where the trouts are at is the difficult one. Was there any fish at Meeting House Cove Rd? Same area, there are a couple of spots out there with deep holes as well. I can PM you if you want to check it out.
I did not catch any in that hole with worms. Nor did the two buddies fishing below me with spinners. I tell yea, few years back two of the locals fish with worms right there and limited out. Either they there are yet to be stocked. Oh yea share those holes will check it out. Heeymanfishing@cherokee.com
Theres plenty of locations to fish in Cherokee. Some folks want to know if it's easy access and many not sure where to go to fish. Remember these waters are stocked so plenty of trout to go around to everyone. Thanks for watching.

Can these spots be fly fished? Or is it fly fishing only up passed the parkway?
You can use a fly rod in Catch & Keep waters. Fly Rod only in Catch & Release.
@@HeeyManFishing Thank you sir. Let's catch us a big'un!
I caught a bunch below the Mingo Falls bridge Saturday but it was crowded
Probably because of HOT SPOTTING
That's a good place.

It’d be interesting for you to go over your gear. Great video
Using a ultra light rod an reel, nothing fancy. Kastking reel and Shimano rod .
I caught my first trout today in front of Paul's. Only went there because of this video. Caught it on a rooster rail.
Nice video sir. I'll be making my first trip any day now. Looks like the path you came down with he rope is loaded with poison ivy.
Oh yea some around there. Waders help.

The stocking truck was hitting Soco on Wednesday of this week as I was leaving.
I purchased a day permit for Friday June 14 but then had to work.
Aww man.

Never have used that bait. I know many fishermen do. Have fished the opening day tourney twice. Very cold in March.
