To the cameraman behind the camera , Let her enjoy her memories . Laugh with them . Make them feel good too . Don't just make it all business telling them to gobble up food !
Her story about the grapes was so awesome. It makes me so happy hearing such happy memories from her childhood. Such mischief! Kids will be kids no matter where they grew up, right? ❤️ Thank you so much for this video. It is a difficult time in life right now, but it definitely brought me some happiness.
Huma’s story is even more beautiful in Farsi and brought tears to my eyes. I lost my dear grandmother in May and this had me crying thinking of my sweet memories with her. God bless Huma, and all of you!
Good job @ WMW for taking advice from your viewers and not ignoring suggestions. (I see the translations have gotten better :) ) I really loved Humas story, it is what makes you like these awesome people even more. More of those please! I would have a suggestion for the channel: How about an episode where the guests share some stories about their favorite Afghan food or can even bring something they made at home and explain to us. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful childhood memory from Huma.... Thank you sister for sharing.. We cannot get that beautiful experience even if we are Millionaire or Billionaire.... You are so lucky Huma sister. God bess you all...
That Maryland cookie Red pack was previously US based but moved to UK in mid 50's and the most favourite purple pack of American Cookies is Uzbekistan based co. Crafers who also exports to USA.
@@juggyy5429 American Cookies isn't the brand . It's the style , the description of product , etc. . We just call them cookies lol . It's like English Muffins , they just call them muffins in England . They aren't a brand and they aren't necessarily sold in England . Found in American Walmart : Italian sausage , German egg noodles , Chinese 5-Spice , Russian eggplant spread , Greek yogurt . See how it works ?
It’s interesting that they all had different favorites. I guess there’s assumption eating a food from another country you’d never tried you’d skew towards a specific flavour appreciated by your country. Awesome video!
Me too, but I imagine trying to coordinate appearances in the middle of the Afghan winter is probably a challenge. Plus, there could be personal circumstances, like when Huma had to take a break last year because of her daughter dying.
Coffee, milk, juice or tea go well with the dry American cookies. Homemade American cookies are wonderful, I hope you can try some of them some day. Thank you for this lovely video.
Honestly as fun as having these folks enjoy the snacks can be I think folks would watch them just talking about various memories from their childhood and life. What was it like when you were growing up- etc. I'd love to learn more about their thoughts on life rather than just eating more snacks. I'd rather learn about these folks as people rather than just as snack-consumers.
The cookies are not American. I don’t really know where “American cookies” brand is from but I have never seen in the stores. Other two, crunch cream and Maryland Cookies are a brand name of cookie produced in United Kingdom. Overall I’m assuming none of them are made in USA. Example of classic American cookie companies are “chips Ahoy!”, “Famous Amos”, “Oreo”
@@osmadchlo Same here, have been in MD for years and have never seen them. Now what would be REAL fun is to give them some steamed MD blue crab with Old Bay and a couple Natty Boh's.
You should do another video with tea or milk alongside the cookies that they can dip them in, and also have them try cookies that are recognizably American, such as Chips Ahoy, Oreo, Pepperidge Farm Milano, Famous Amos, etc. It seems at least some of the ones here are not actually American cookies, but rather 'American style' cookies made by companies not in the US.
Of course, the true joy is making chocolate chip cookies and licking the batter from the spoon while they bake! It is very much like shaking grapes from the rafters!
Eat oatmeal with Smoothie (Milk, Yoghurt, Blueberries, Bananas, Strawberries, Spinach and Green Kale). Best choice for your body. Then a Chicken dish for dinner.
May I ask what is the name of the music that you use in the background of all of your videos? I have not been able to recognize the song, but all I know is that there is a mix of violin, accordion and percussion. It's a very charming and calming ambient.
Those are cookies found in the UK. BTW, cookies in the UK are cheaply made and not the same quality as those made in the US. I can buy sleeves of those cookies from £.50 to £1. I miss Nabisco and Keebler brand cookies here.
Guys, if you want them to try real American cookies I think you have to send them some. Most of the stuff you're listing like thin mints, girl scout cookies etc we can't even get here in Europe let alone what they can probably find in Afghanistan!
@WMW Since Shokoor and others have watched lots of Indian movies, do they have any favourites? Have they watched any recently? For eg Dangal? If not, could you do a reaction to the trailer?
Crafers are A Middle Eastern Biscuit /cookie manufacturer, Not Western, so in fact these cookies will have been manufactured to suit middle eastern tastes and given the ''American cookie'' title ..so the testers not be getting an authentic trial of western cookies or biscuits
I am learning a lot of different words and It's so exciting..does شفا خانه means hospital? I use بیمارستان but شفا means heal and خانه Is house..so healing house..Right? I love this Channel not Only because everyone Is so sweet but also because I keep learning from you guys..thank you so much❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sorry, but not even a cup of tea or water for these panelists. Its funny but I so enjoy these lovely people trying different foods. Its always made more pleasant when they like the particular foodstuff.

Glad to have you here ✌💚
I loved Huma's story and the glimpse into her life! Wonderful to get to know them better.
Huma and the grapes... loved it... very similar to us (in Kolkata, India) getting mangoes from trees with small stones... cherish those memories...
Loved Huma's story. She has soul, looks and brains!
Thank you, Huma, for sharing your delightful memory. You were a clever young lady to devise a way to get that fruit!! 😃
I am an American and I enjoy watching you try our foods. I, however, would love to try your foods!
Thank you sooooooo much for sharing your young childhood memories with us!!! We also have memories like these smiles
what i would GIVE to share fresh, homemade cookies with them-they are so sweet i want to give them hospitality and share my food and my home with them
😊😊😊They are so nice. ✌️❤️🇨🇦 Love from Canada!
I pray those memories will stay with you forever.
When I was a kid my parents did not believe in desserts. But we always had a box of cookies ready for a snack with tea, coffee or hot milk.

Beautiful story. Love it. Please keep telling stories about yourselves :)
That memory was funny, loved hearing it

Paper, scissors, I was waiting for her to say rock, lol.
love this group!
Let's bring them to America to try our food. They would be most welcome! 😊 And they can show us how to prepare their favorite dishes.
Solid!
Top KEK!
Fox and marryland are British brands.
Superb! I would be really amazed if they are able to taste the Indian cookies and biscuits 😁
"I'm getting old" - I fully empathize with Huma there. LOL, they're literally "American Cookies"...Girl Scout Cookies would be a great video.
She is my favorite person
Always say good everything
These are British biscuits. I recognise them quite readily.
Love that 😂 😂
Anggur that's the same words for grapes for us Malaysian
We Indian too
Grapes are not healthy.
And brunei too..Salam
Same in Hindi
Same in Persian too 😄

45 year old American here.....and I have never seen these cookies....but I’ve never been to Iowa, maybe these cookies are from Iowa.
Packaged cookies are okay, but homemade cookies 🍪 are the best.

I’ve never heard of that brand here in the USA(?). Then again there are many many different Brand’s here.
Wonder why she told the grape🍇story?
I just want to sit, eat and chat away with Huma 😊😊😊... One day 😏
This was a great video
1:37 the lady was talking about quince fruit not a pear. Please use google translate for accuracy.
Yes...there were more than a couple of translation errors. A few times, I had no idea what they were trying to say, like 'jend'.

i enjoyed the grape story
It’s a good thing Huma can’t read English because the ingredients would surprise her. 😂😂
Girl Scout Cookies would be great
nice Cookies, they make me hungry
I wonder if they would like Girl Scout cookies.
Thin mints!

Another episode to love but those are British biscuits not American cookies 🙂🙂🙂
Those don’t look like any cookies I’ve ever seen before. Should have used Oreos, Chips Ahoy and Nutter Butters.
I was thinking the same thing! The packaging looks more European, to me
Yes! dude, I love Nutter Butters! & Teddy Grahams! Oreos are def the quintessential American cookies.
Should have given them tea,
These are English biscuits 🍪
They looked like British cookies haha
But what *ARE* they? *SHOW THE WRAPPER FIRST!*
They are bootleg cookies from UK

you will get less and less views if you dont put Afghan in the title
I miss the matrix guy. Where is he?
Give them chai with milk!
Oreo? Chips Ahoy? Nutter Butter? Those are American cookies.
Dude... How about some Oreos next time or some thin mints or something? Those cookies looked terrible.
Those are not American lol what
Love this channel. But Fox's biscuits and Maryland cookies Are 100% British. Not American. And a specially crunchy creams are 100% British😒😑.
