I agree! I've been telling people for years that a good speaker isn't one that can play loud but one that can play loud AND quiet but still retain their fidelity at any volume
Dude I recently bought a pair of MR524's following your recommendation and I couldn't be happier. Thanks! :)
I got them too as well. They re great. I'm surprised how how they get, though. The back panel
BTW the JBL LSR305's are $99 each on Sweetwater and B&HPhotoVideo until December 31.
That's a good deal! I already have a pair, but thanks. I'll share this with some friends.
I got a similar deal last year. Best speaker for the price, hands down.
Wish I knew this before buying micca mb42x's for $90
I just bought a pair for $159 shipped. Guess I shouldn't feel bad?
Where did you find that sweet deal? Is it new or used?
So now we are waiting for side by side sound demo of the MR624 vs LSR305 :)
The above or Swans..whats best
Well, I went out to Guitar Center and bought the mr824 speakers on account that they didn't have the mr624 in stock. I did get to listen to both though. They sound pretty much identical but the 824 has more bass and is obviously louder.
They sound so fucking good. At normal and high volumes they sound like decent speakers, but when I turn them down they sound fucking amazing which is perfect because I don't really like having music up super loud. as I sit here and listen to them I feel like they're relaxing me with their sound. It's so smooth and nice. I've got them plugged into a Chromecast audio through RCA and it's fantastic.
They have just a little more hiss than I would like, but I am particularly sensitive to speaker hiss. I don't think it will bother the vast majority of people.
Hi i was thinking get the 824s to use in my living room with my av amp using the pre outs? but i never heard them, maybe these with 8 inch driver can be better with larger spaces and still use later 2 subs
Just ordered these, can't wait for them to come in
How did they go? Do you use them for mixing or for music listening?
Zeos you need to check out the XR624's from Mackie. They are so damn good! 160 watts each with wood cabinets and woven kevlar drivers. I upgraded from my 305s coincidentally enough and couldn't be happier..
what was lacking from the LSR305 for you? potential buyer here
Mostly headroom, volume and low-end tightness. They would distort pretty easily under heavy usage, and wouldn't get as loud as I was needing them to be (granted I am a producer/sound designer, so my needs are different from other's). The low-end frequency extension isn't as good as the JBL's, even with a HUGE difference of 2hz, but the tightness is so much better on the XR624s. I also just went to my local GC and compared the new MKII JBL's, and they still lost to the Mackies. The XR624's are also on clearance for 250 a side, and for Mackie's flagship monitor? That's a steal.
Griff murph thanks for that information. The gloss bezel on the new 305p is a turn off. Flabby bass is a concern and also the amp hiss people have reported. Hmmmm
Hardly a fair comparison, the LSR's are 5" woofer while MR624 is 6" the Mackies cost over $130 more than the JBL's in my country. So maybe better if you put the JBL's up against Mackie MR524's, great channel BTW.
08:10 Z, the reason the Mackies get warm is because they have a Class A/B amplifier, wheras the JBL's have a Class D. I'm of the view now that Hi-Fi and Pro-Audio go with Class D amplifiers and Audiophiles go with Class A/B. I've been thinking I want to switch to Class D like the Crown XLS Drive Core 2, XLS 1002 for my JBL Studio 530's or just switch to JBL powered monitors maybe. Also there is a new Mark 2 of the JBL Series 3 which replaced the LSR305 which I don't think you have reviewed yet.
I've actually learned now that better Class D amplifiers are the latest Hypex nCore. Other alternatives are IcePower or ClassD Audio.
Now you've got to compare the JBL *306P mkII's to these puppies. How else will I know which to buy??
It's your noble duty to do this review... I await your guidance.
come on zeos
the 305Ps you’ve had sitting on your there for a month will work, too. We are waiting. There are dozens of us
I have powered monitors Emotiva 6s in my "Home Theater" I am using an older Harman Kardem Reciever with 7.2 preouts. And the remote control. Sounds great.
It's seems to be an impossible task to find a pair of near-field speakers that sound great at low volumes, are actually power efficient and don't have any other issues like static noise.
These looked great until he mentioned the heat and high power consumption with no idle stand by...
It's cheap now, I'll order them, a great "gift" for quarantine time due to CoronaVirus (Covid-19) 😋
Thanks for sharing.
Did the same :D
Me too
Be here Wednesday!
I'm getting the 8s
Me too just ordered mine, hope im not disappointed!
Thanks to your review, I decided to purchase my new MR624s paired with the MRS10 sub from Mackie also....
Totally satisfied, and real VFM (735 euros in Greece)
A perfect combination for home-studio purposes (and listening of course)...
The comment that convinced me to buy them, was that you can mix in very low levels, which that proves the quality of the monitor....
With room-correction at B, High-cuts button at -2 db, and the sub crossover at 45 Hz (volume about 5% only, the sub is a beast!) I have the perfect balance for my mixings!
At my pro studio I have The HR824 ones + the MRS10 sub.
Now, I can finally create music and mixing at home!
THANKS Z!!!!!!!!👍👍👍
I'd love to see a 6.5 inch shootout. Do bigger woofers translate into good audio at low volumes? JBL 306p vs MR627 vs Yamaha HS7.
Good video, Can you share with us the link of the desk covering "foam elite/ sound absorbing" or the correct name of it! i need to cover my desk with a proper one !
The 6” will be too big for my desk. Does the 5” version also sound as good as the 6” at low volumes? Pretty much a dealbreaker for me as I won’t be able to blast these
How have you not reviewed GENELEC?
Bought the mackie MR624 active monitors, not such a well known brand for hifi or studio monitors
Amazing couple speakers they are and they are rediculous cheap :) (only 400€ for the couple)
Very spatious detailled sound, very forward sounding speakers, very wide soundstage, amazing instrument separation.
Bass levels are insane deep, low and powerfull, don't need a sub at all!
I like them more than dynaudio bm5 MKIII and dynaudio emit 20, adam A7x and KEF LS50 or other Speakers/monitors from around 800 - 1000 € i tried
Don't always follow the brainless hypes on the internet
Got the MR624's aswell, before had the Logitech Z506 and listen to Hardstyle, Hardcore, Deep House, Future House and I kinda feel I am too close or something, Yes there is bass, but not like da best. I am only using my mobo soundcard tough (ASUS Maximus X Hero) but I am gonna get the Schiit Magni 3 and Modi 2 Uber. Do you think it'll sound better? Do I need to move further away? Listening from about 50 cm away.
Edit: When I go to the back of my room, the bass is ALOT better tough :)
Can confirm they are powerfull AF, love them so much now!
I just got my LSR305s in & I saw the title.
**screaming internally**
Almost got me...
Scrapeddd Drift Me too!
I just received and set mine up last weekend and I can't return them either (imported from US) :( Zeos always finds a way to make you question your purchases.
I got my JBLs for $158 USD shipped.
Sucks they're so expensive for you.
Yea I saw that deal too but they don't ship to Canada :(
I know right. I just picked up 2 today...the same day as this video...was gonna be like wtf.
I bought the MR5 in 2007 and here I am in 2022 just NOW looking to replace them. Undecided to stick with them or go down a new road
Have these on order along with the SMSL SU-8 DAC for my bedroom 2.0 setup. Will wait till i hear them before adding the sub but that will be your 2.1 setup with remote control DAC, with the plus that ill be able to produce in bed, I'd say win for sure.
I hate to be a party pooper, but I bought the MR628's and after hearing them compared to other monitors for near the same price, I'm gonna return them. The JBL 308's had much more detail for the same price. So, I'm gonna buy those instead. Learn from my mistake, do NOT BUY studio monitors before doing side-by-side comparison at your local music store.
Really, you should do a side-by-side comparison in YOUR own ROOM, if at all possible.
When I was single I owned Mackie hr824 MK2, and later on a pair of focal CMS 65. That was years ago. Married with two kids and finally starting to build up studio arsenal again. I had guitar center do a blind listening test in there monitor room. Stand outs we're one pair of Adam A7, the JBLs, and all of the Mackie lineup. the guys at guitar center laughed because I was able to identify every time they swiched to a Mackie. I guess it's the sound I prefer. So I ordered the mr624s. as you mentioned in the video they are a really nice price point.
Wait zeos is 173 years old, man that is dope.
What's the problem with the Mackie name?
I bought a small Mackie mixer in the 90's, it was the 1st mixer I bought for my small home studio, and so far it's the last, I'm still using it, no noises, no squeaking knobs, works like the work horse it was designer like .
I set my mind on buying a Dynaudio monitors which cost twice the price of these, but I decided I'm going to hear these first and then make a final decision.
Not sure about the latest MR’s, but I have the MR8 Mkii, MR5 mkii, and also the LSR305, and the LSR308. As far as power, the Mackie are monsters. Ton of bass. Very fun speakers for cinema. But wow they put out a lot of heat and they did not seem detailed to me. Sound quality wise and preference... man I would take the underpowered JBL’s any day of the week. I believe the HR series is much more detailed though.
These speakers use the class A/B analog/hybrid amps which draw a constant amount of power all the time. That's why they're hot when there is no signal going thru them. Class D amps are better in terms of power consumption and newer technology which reduces the noise and distortion.
One thing I prefer is to have the high frequency and mid frequency driver as close together as possible. This speaker have quite large separation. This is especially true for near-field listening where you actually can hear the separation.
Marcus the difference is even greater on the 8inch model.
Don't play with me lol. I was excited then questioning why JBL would want something between the JBL 305 and 308. Mackies to me in my listening tests always colored the sound and sounded slightly off, but good! They're definitely good budget buy!
How do they compare to Mackie XR624
"Z Review - JBL LSR306!!! LEAKED REVIEW!! TOTALLY LEGIT!!"
Just recording the original title for the history books~
And it is changed because 30 dislikes. People hate jokes. Noted.
Big thank ma mayeen
@@ZReviews really nice video! How the mackies compared with the presonus eris xt series? Wich the best for mixing and producing?
can you review the mackie mr 524? and compare them to the jbls? please. thanks
M-Audio did that for me. Cheap 2nd hand BX5 Kevlar mid bass made me so happy, added a 99$ Polk Subwofer, fun stuff, also added a Yamaha AG03 mixer to television headphone out for bedroom audio 1 power switch keeps me busy listening 👍😀
MR524 or LSR305?
With 305 you have to play the music LOUD to sound awesome. Mackies its all there at lower volume. i dont own the mackie/havent heard it long time, though. 305 also have a minute hiss when there is nothing playing.
After a month you get used to the hiss, even 2' away doesnt bother sensitive me. 305s break in nicely
MR624
@@mateeematty havent heard them
MR524
can you do a review with the mackie mr524 vs jbl lsr 305 ?
these look sick i love green lights
I've been listening to Z's reviews for quite some time and I want to upgrade the speakers on my computer that connects me to the world!. My current speakers are about 30 years old and were made around my stomping grounds of northeast Kansas. They cost me a pretty penny back in the day but I understand that technology evolvves. Would speakers around this range with all the new technology be better than mine? The label says Rosinate Evolution by Ric Cummins in Eudora Kansas. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
Only way to know is to go to a store and listen to the speakers them selfes, even better if you can borrow/try out the speakers at home so you know how they sound. For the bass I can say you need to wear them in for about a week :)
Time for Zeos to review some DALI speakers! Specially their budget stuff. I hear nothing but praise.
Don't know about their new stuff but the Ikon 7 Mk2's are amazing
Just received my Schiit stack and Mackie MR824's, holy crap this setup rocks!
You know we're going to click the video regardless of the title.
Just got a pair today. They really have a huge ''sweet spot'', so that sound doesn't change a lot, or ever so lightly. And one thing that i noticed right away - they do produce noticeable hiss.
what type of connection did u use??...I am pretty serious about these...considering ...to buy or not to buy...the hiss is what I am worried about
@@renemosny6235 im in exactly the same position
if you grew up in the 80's like me you would know that all leds where only ever red until they started using more colors. red for everything. love your reviews.. listening on my LSR 306's :P
Thanks for the review Z. Debating between these and the lsr305s; might go for the 8" mackies though.
Which ones did you get? I'm also hesitating thanks to this guy. Only con for Mackies is that I would have to wait 10 weeks before I get them :(
I decided on the mackies, but haven't gotten them just yet.
Currently waiting on my JBL lsr308s to arrive!! My first set of studio monitors so I'm super stoked!!
NW what are your thoughts so far? Please report.
Still deciding between the 6 and 8 inchers. I'll probably go for the 6 inch and add a sub if I need to.
I have the mr5mk3, which are the older version of mr5's . they sound great also, especially good at low volume, as you say.
The "U" stands for Unity gain, which is basically 0 dB. Same level as the input source.
I'm still rockin my Mackie MR5s. They're delicious.
Just got the MR524 based on this review. Hopefully it'll turn out good. (assuming the MR524 is pretty similar with a frequency response down to 45Hz as opposed to 38Hz on the MR624)
are you happy with those mackies 524 after a year? I don't know what to choose, 305p or 524 :)
@@banny123456 Hi, I would say the MR524s imaging, mids and highs are pretty impressive. Unfortunately, I find the Low end to be lacking a bit. But do keep in mind that i did not treat my room and that might have affected the low end negatively. But overall i would say they are pretty impressive for what they are. I did audition both the MR524 and 305p, and they sound very very similar. But what made me purchase the MR524, was really the imaging of the speakers. I was able to tell exactly where each instrument was, maybe its due to Mackies Logarithmic waveguide and although trivial, I think the MR524s are more pleasing on the eye compared to the 305p
@@TheWarrenng Thank you, this help. I think Mackies are looking better and the low volume level is an impressive feature for me, I read some comments that sound on the 305p just fall apart when they play at the low volume level. I have the intention to use this speakers during the day in my large office, like a background music/radion, and punch it during the overtimes when I'm alone in the office. When I listen to the comparison of these two speakers, 305p seems to be a little more sharp and clear on the high ends to me, with more soundstage and punchy lows, but hard to tell. Both speakers are awesome, either of these is not a bad choice I think.
I bought the Mackie CR3s and the spring loaded speaker clip on the power speaker was screwed up. I returned them and decided to get the CR5s. Ok I set up the CR5s and they sound great ... for about 20 mins when the right (powered) speakers starts rattling, even at low volumes. SOB! I exchange them for another pair of CR5s and the new ones while defect free don't sound right to me, I don't know if it's me or what .. but the first CR5s were like WOW! and these are like Um, they don't sound the same. Obviously I can't recommend the CR series because of quality control issues.
You do fantastic reviews!!!! I love them all. but you love listening to yourself talk more than playing the darn speakers so we can hear them!! 😂😂😂😂
if mackie could just fix their 'warm' products id stand by them 100%
I have the mackie mr8 mk2's they sound great yeah, but one of them has a backplate that gets so hot you cant touch it without getting burned and the other one hardly gets warm, so i'm certain its a defect from poor quality control
I also have the mackie big knob studio, which gets 'warm' (knob especialy) and its like right at the edge of being too hot
I hate this from mackie, get your shit together
one thing to note, is the mackies have zero noise, hum, buzz, hiss what ever you call it, unlike the JBL LSR's which is audible
Is the low end garbage on these without the sub?
I wish the speakers power lights were the more blueish green color in your video, love the look
Thankyou for the review. I always enjoy them.
You're exactly right about the KRKs. I don't know why anybody would consider them at all. JBLs are better (I've mixed on those); Mackies are better (I've mixed on those); Adams are better; Yamahas are better; Presonus are better; Tannoys are better... Monitors or headphones alike: I'd be hard pressed to think of a situation where I'd actually trust KRKs.
You should do a "dump on KRK" video akin to what you did with the Audio Technica M50x cans.
Good stuff per usual!
Have you tried the new generation KRKs?
I think it's Gen3...
It's funny, I just ordered these Mackies to replace my old gen KRK Roket 8's. Can't wait to do side by side.
@@skept3k516 How are they? I have some krk 6's I'm looking to replace for general listening.
I'm rocking the MR824 and I love them. They were $400 a pair on Amazon. Basically MR624 pricing for MR824 monitors. Good stuff!
David Sanders How do you like to use how was the bass response I’m considering getting these the 8 inch model
@@jayjay2008ish The bass is pretty good, you do need to get them up off the desk though. I love them, the only downside is that they are quite large so you need a lot of room for them to breath. They can really move air and get quite loud without any harshness. At the current Amazon pricing ($400/pair) they are a steal.
checked them out to see if they would works as "cheap reference" monitors next to my Genelec 8341s but they did not sound as good as the OLD HR624 MK2 BUT they are a bit smaller no passive radiator and cheaper so i guess they will do the job until a proper replacement for HR series is done i may just hit up ebay for next few months for a used set of HR624 mk2 as a feel they are a better speaker
How can i connect to vinyl and tv at the same time?
I listened to the JBL and Mackie 5 inch versions going back and forth, and it seemed like the JBL had a more crisp sound with better low end extension than the mackies. Will have to go back and give them both another listen but I cant exactly blast music so maybe the mackies are a better buy for low to medium volume listening. Also the jbls are on sale for 109 each right now so that's the cheaper option.
@andrew doan Depth is front to back right? While imaging is left to right, do you have a good test song for depth I could use to play on both?
I’ve been using the Macke HR824 studio monitors since 2001, I have heard speakers all the way up to £8000, and they don’t even come close,
Soundstage, imaging, transparency, dynamic range. it blows your mind!
When listening to extremely good recording, you literally can think you can pluck the instruments out of the air.
They are very big buggers though LOL when you get a moment and an opportunity definitely have a listen to them and have your perspective shifted and turned inside out.. but the most astonishing thing about them is that any volume all the above characteristics I mentioned never change, which is astonishing, you get the same amount of base resolution imaging soundstage et cetera at two percent volume all the way up to hundred percent volume. In case it’s not clear LOL if my house was on fire these are the only things I would safe
I just ordered the MR824's. Any insights into those?
Koji G HRs are industry Standard, some ppl don't know that.
YES! I discovered the FOAM review! I've been searching.
I think a sound comparison between these and the lsr 305's would be great because im having a hard time justifying these over the lsr 305
SYNc speakers mounted to the plastic baffle rather than wood on the lsrs, which despite how good they may sound is poor form in my book.
A better comparison would be Yamaha HS7s (at their used, not new, price)
I bough my 305s on black friday for 99 each, I honestly dont feel like changing them cause i got a damn good deal on them at the time.
I just bought these for $169 per speaker, from American Musical (AMS)! Still a great deal!
This or the Vanatoo Transparent Zeros? I'm afraid the LSR305s or these may be too large for my desk, that's why I'm leaning toward the Vanatoo Transparent Zeros, they seem fairly compact. The only thing that worries me is if they work with 192kHz/24bit, PCM abd bitstream audio. I already have a NFB-11 and with normal active speakers all I would need is to hook them directly, but the Transparent Zeros probably benefit from connecting through the toslink optical to at least get 96kHz/24bit input.
Apparently their HR series has passive radiators... Which so few other monitor companies do it makes me wonder why: Are ports just cheaper? Do most people not mind chuffing?
that proposition of a 2.1 system at a living room is good maybe those 8 inch Mackies with a sub so if i put my AV amp and use the pre outs i can use them right? and i can still use all my imputs and tweek the sound as i want and control the volume
Mackie has had nearfield reference monitors for at least 15 years. Just like JBL, Mackie also has a "pro" department and they had great products for studios for a long time. Both JBL and Mackie are Harman companies so don´t be surprised in many changes in marketing and branding. JBL HiFi and PA speakers are the bottom of the barrel, just like the plastic Mackies you see in small clubs etc. It´s all great news for us consumers though, as you can get a pair of monitors for 300$ now that would have cost thousands 15 years ago. For more cash, you can go with Adam, Dynaudio and many more and get what would have been an absolute reference 10 years ago for under a grand. Many of those are also Harman companies so you get the same warranty and everything else with all of them....BTW, kudos for those KEF´s I saw on your desk at the left, what a treat for listening (not monitoring though) to music.
Please review the Sennheiser HD 660S! I am looking at getting either HD 600 650 or 660S and you say reasonable things about headphones instead of audiophile rubbish. Zeos is reasonable.. Zeos is kind.. okay maybe not always kind but you're favorites are the 600s and it would be nice to know what you think about the 660Ss.
Someone loaned me 660's.... Then I bought myself a pair.
hey Zeos..Got these the next day of this review..they still doing ammazing !!! Now that i want an 8inch.. you say JBL 308p or Mackie MR824 !?? thanks in advance....
Hi! would you prefer Mackie MR524 over JBL lsr305??
I had tried LSR 305s for my desk, but gave up on them because of an audible hiss that was stealing my sanity. Do these emit an audible hiss when you are sitting at your desk (I am approximately 26 inches from my speakers)? I am looking at maybe getting these but I plan on getting the Swan M200MKIII if the Mackie MRX24 have a constant hiss.
Zeos, please reupload the SOUND DEMO, waiting for a long time.
Thank you for showing this...these speakers or underrated...but people don't know that they can blow your windows out and this is no joke...i really saw this with my eyes..the bass is ridiculous..that why they cost so much...these are professional speakers. also.the HR824
Is it normal that when you get close to the tweeters you hear humming? (like theres always a slight hiss since powered but theres also humming)
Yes. Most studio monitors hiss because of the amplifier but some are louder than others. Especially budget monitors because the Class D amp tend to be loud. The Kali and JBL MKII is a good example of a monitor that has a louder hiss than others.
I was wondering about how loud it was on these Mackie MR624.
Hey, Z -- I live in Cambodia and I can buy these or the Edifier S2000Mk-iii for the same money. Thoughts?
Literally just installed my LSR 305's. Then again I got 2 of them for the price of 1 MR624. Although they are currently on sale for $160. Dam, I'm kinda salty.
Well... should I wait for the Adam T range to come out later this month? Thanks for the review, I will certainly keep them for consideration. I love the last quote 'Follow me into the darkness as far as you can.'
Where's the Mackie subwoofer review?
I BEEN WAITING TO HEAR, SOUND BIG LOW VOLUME!!! THEY WILL BE MINE!!!!
Expecting my LSR305s to arrive today.
if you had like a bigger living room or even like a big gym room or basement, would it make sense then to put this one in mono and in the corner? also wonder what their specific subwoofer would add to this along with how big of a room the 8 inch version could project in as far as distance goes.
do I still go for the LSR305's if I want 5 inch speakers? Or do I go with the 5 inch version of these mackies? (MR524)
MattZildjian I can't get over how the drivers are mounted to the plastic baffle on the lsr range.
Don't play with my feelings
Better me than that demon woman you are seeing.
JBL 305's, 306's, 308's or the MR624's? cad $180, $220, $300, $290?
I don't want a sub, and I don't want physically large... what's the best mix that will cover off the bass, but not take up valuable real-estate in the room? Are the MR624's worth the premium over the JBL's for a 6"?
Just bought 524. I noticed a slight static it tweeter with +2db at level A and idk why. Brand new
All powered speakers hiss. Some more than others.
What is your desk setup? How big is your table?
Just hooked up my pair and these things sound fantastic. Great recommendation by Zeos. 6.5" is the sweet spot for me. Might add the sub down the line but I'm going to be chilling on these for now.
What do you think about the Edifiers so far? I'm tempted to get a cheap pair of speakers 'til I save up for more expensive monitors because my current cheap hi-fi speakers suck (they are prone to some sort of electrical interference).
Can you comment on Yamaha HS series compared to this Mackies?
Yes, this!!!
So how they are compared to your old KRK's?
Bought them yesterday.I noticed extreme overheating in 1 hour of use.
Εγω δεν έχω τετοιο πρόβλημα..... Και τα παίζω πολλές ώρες,,,
i like the look and size of these, but what is better for trap music production, 6 or 8 inch? i have heard that with a 6 inch it is better to get a subwoofer as well to accumulate the low ends more, but i dont have the budget to buy the sub as well but i can get 8 inch monitors but not sure if i have the room for them.
If you were choosing between Yamaha HS7's or these which one's would you choose and why?
I like your reviews Z! You kind of remind me of Jack Black ;-)
So now I have to choose between the Mackie MR624 and The Swan M200MKIII
You are as enthousiast about both speakers that is why.
Can you help me out?
Hey man, thanks for the good info, great videos!
I am considering these monitors and i am curious, where would you place them with respect to the M-Audio BX5 D2 and the Alesis M1 Active Mk2 ?
I had the bx5 for a couple of years, which sounded good but from the low ends I just wished for more ..
And then the alesis which were by far my favourites, they sounded so much different, better to me, they were a bit clearer and due to the size of the woofer ( 6.5 i think ) they delivered much more bass, which helped a lot with the mixes.
Unfortunately the Alesis are dead now..and discontinued :( otherwise i would get a pair of those without thinking twice... so after looking around for a while, i am now considering the MR624 , the MR824 and the M-audio BX8 D3. For some reason, the new Alesis models don't appeal to me that much.. and by experience i know the m-audios are very well built. Don't know anything about the mackies, except for the things i read/see/hear on the internets :)
I have a quite big room, about 5x5 meters (maybe 5x6..?), and i would rather not add a subwoofer. For now it would be mostly for listening..maybe a bit of producing/mixing some hip hop, but just for fun.
What would you suggest ?
Thanks a lot!
can you make a vs with focal alpha 65?
Price ;)
JBL 306P MKII are out! 306P MKII vs MR624 PLEASE!!!!!
i want this to happen too!!
YES please!!
going to buy the m5s most probably. I'm just worried about their reliability, not much information or reviews on these monitors so it makes me wary of them lol. I don't want them to die after a few months like the CR4s do apparently
Cal Did you buy them? And if you did what are they like?
went for the jbl lsr 305s in the end as it seemed like a safer bet. They were slightly cheaper too
hey zeos, dayton audio has some new bookshelf speakers and also upgraded the tower speakers with amt tweeters, in case you wanna check those out....
What's the track at 13'40"? I can't make out what he said. Thanks.
I know it's a bit late (only 10 months) but that snippet caught me too and I spent the last hour trying to figure it out. Anyway... Sucess!!! It's called "Impermanence we feel" from Code Geass. You're welcome :)
