this was so fabulous and yes very satisfactory and soothing to my heart, thinking of a beloved relative who passed. When I play this medley , I will think of her. so my favorite part is Maroon 5 Memories 💔
You are so welcome. Glad I could help you on your ukulele journey. I'll bet you would have a good time with our Patreon community. Come join us. I think it would be a good fit for you.
This is just gorgeous Lisa. I have just found it and will practice and practice this. I just love it and will play two of the melodies at the remembrance of my dear friend in May. We are meeting in the open, after a sea swim and it wont be perfect, but I hope I can do it justice. Thank you x
Thanks! My kiddo and I learn really well from you. We hope to make it back to your open mic soon too. It’s funny you just published this because I just left a livestream with Phil Hogg from England, live-streaming from Japan. One of the songs he did was Ralph McTell’s Streets of London, which was well known to the joiners from the UK, but not nearly as familiar to the crowd from the US. Looking forward to getting together with my kiddo and our leles to practice with this video!
So glad you can spread the ukulele love with your kiddo. I hope you can come back to our open mic soon. Last week was so fun! The theme was mythical creatures. We also do a mixer these days. They are the spontaneous and fun.
@@TheUkuleleFool Thank you! We get to go to our local strum and sing this weekend in person and we’re so grateful for all the virtual opportunities too!
Lovely tutorial, especially because I was able to do the fingerpicking straight off. So all the practice on FP I have done is finally beginning to pay off. So pleased and thank you Lisa for your encouragement.
Had trouble with my computer and couldn't add a comment. It seems to be working now. So, I want to say Thank You, Lisa! I love this song and it fits with what I am practicing how. "Classical music". I told my husband and we listened to different versions of Pachelbel's Canon together on RUclips and I saved some on my Facebook page along with yours. Love yours! I still prefer the ukulele, but trying some classical study pieces on guitar. I played along with your video and it's much more fun! My husband is still working on my Baritone, so I'm playing my Tenor ukulele and guitar. You're wonderful! You're so encouraging and patient with all of your students. You've been so caring and adaptable wanting to know what each of your students want to hear and learn playing.
I hope you're feeling better, Lisa! I'm playing along with you in cyberspace!
Thanks Ann! I feel much better.
This is so beautiful!! Very fitting for graduation weekend around here right now, too.
I love that Vitamin C song. 2 of the girls that introduced that song to me are still friends and their kids have play dates.

Wonderful! I hope it goes well as a tribute to your friend. My tribute song that I did for a friend is Wildflowers - a Tom Petty tune.
@@TheUkuleleFool Thank you. I can’t remember that time. I’ll look it up now ❤️
Love this ❤. I’ve never heard the lyrics before.
That is one of the beautiful things about the ukulele - you hear lyrics like never before.
I too learned about this video from your Patreon feed. I like the combination of strumming and "new" fingerpicking.
Awesome, thank you!

The subtitle to your chord chart is "Part 1". Is there a Part 2?
I had plans for another set of songs, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Awww! It's so lovely to see your fur baby express love as you play. Please give him/her a belly rub from me. Thanks for the amazing video tutorial. 🌹
My dogs love my ukulele playing, and HATE my flute playing. So glad I could help you on your ukulele journey.
Love it you’re beautiful.
Thank you so much. I worked with a man with the last name of Bongiovanni and I taught his kids too.
