I just got a ukelele for Xmas and I am hooked. You are now part of my newly acquired love affair with this instrument. Appreciate the effort you make to help beginners like me and everyone else to learn and have fun with the ukelele. Keep up the amazing work you do.
Very useful and fun, Cory! Pardon my ignorance but aside from professional playing, what causes the ukulele giving such a clear sound? Is it impossible to catch it nearly with a cheap one? Because I sound like a flock of crows dying.
A lot of it has to do with how well you are making the chord and an even strum. Make sure you are squeezing with your fingers so the chords will sound clear and not hitting the top two strings harder than the others.
