Took over a messy plot in North Tyneside a few months ago. Hope to get mine looking something approaching as good as yours....but it'll take a canny while!
There should be a rule about lack of work on allotments. Wind blown weed seeds must be flying around everyones plots. At least you have plenty of back up toms Tony as i cant see your poly toms going for very long. 😊
Hey Tony great to see another video. However, I’m not sure your empty beds look good and your tomatoes don’t look great either do they? I notice a little blossom end rot and n a couple of the front tom plants about half way up too. Not sure about the quad grows I think you may get great growth but unsure about the quality of the growth. Look at the healthiness of the toms outside in comparison. Sorry Chuck x
Think we had summer the other day here in Blackpool ,bloody rained every day and cold , its my first time growing in containers some things are doing ok others got battered by the winds we had. but i live in hope lol ,hope for the flipping sun to come out .
Don't wanna tell you how to suck eggs Tony, but Tomatoes don't like direct sunlight. In the wild they grow under trees and spread along looking for sun. They like heat not sun. Also some of your toms look like they've got blossom end rot. Lack of calcium and over watering is usually the cause. 😮
Your sweetcorn look amazing 🤩. Your tomatoes don’t look very happy though??? I think they might be rootbound as they like to spread their roots quite a way. I think those pots might be better for the peppers 🫑 xx
Id be pleased if my tomatoes looked like that, all of mine are rubbish this year, not even a flower on any of them even in the greenhouse and out of 5 cucumbers ive got 1 and that only about 6 inches tall,runner beans are a disaster too, might give up this year as a bad job!!
Let the cuces and toms get to room temp from the fridge before eating them. The flavor mostly comes back. Also, a few of your toms in the polly, near where you had the camera, has blossom end rot.
Your tomatoes in the greenhouse look pretty sad. Maybe too much water. Are the roots rotting. Maybe pull a plant out of the pot and look at the roots. The peppers and chillies are loving it. The tomatoes outside look great so something going on.

I think farmers would plant their corn a lot closer together.put the carrots on the empty bed.
I thought you were supposed to let chillies dry out a bit between waterings to make thm hotter. How does that work with the quadgrows?

C7cumber like humidity. Maybe next year plant them at the other end of the polytunnel, away from the door.
