It is a crime that this doesn’t have more views. Masterfully arranged song. The ending... epic is an overused word, but it truly is.

i saw Thrice live at Riotfest in Toronto in 2015. They rocked. Also saw Cancerbats. Weezer played their entire Blue album front to back. Alexisonfire made their re-debut after their breakup, was their first show back together since they split. Wutang-clan. Eagles of Death metal. So many cool shows. Moneen. gosh it was a hell of a 2 day event. Rained cats and dogs on us, froze us out too. But we stayed.

This is what the deftones were going for but were never able to pull off.
The lyrics are kind of the opposite of what Chino goes for though.
Lol no Deftones have been around years before Thrice. The atmosphere on this album is heavily inspired by White Pony. The riffs and sludgy sounding bass is clearly inspired by Deftones signature Alt-metal sound. Thrice's albums before this had a very clear Post Hardcore and Punk sound to them.
