Because I have some far families there, they guided us most of the time. Other times, we got around by Grab which is equivalent to Uber in the US. Since I didn’t plan the Malaysia trip myself, I wouldn’t know how hard or easy to get around since I just tag along my sisters. But yes, most people can speak some English there.
