- Today, we are in Kuala Lumpur and we will go to the famous Genting Highlands for a day trip. Genting Highlands is often considering as the Las Vegas of Malaysia and it's true! It's very impressive when we arrive. Spending one day here is not enough for sure.

As a Malaysian here, this resort was started way back in 1966... Genting Highland main revenue since the beginning is its CASINO.

My daughter and I went to KL as a stopover traveling from New Zealand to Thailand and were only there 3 day's. Absolutely loved itand wished we had stayed there instead of Phuket.Went to Genting Highlands and had a ball.

My first trip to Genting Highlands was year 1975 where there’s a big lake for boat peddling in front of its first Genting Hotel! The lake has converted to car park now! Has been to Genting for countless occasions! My last trip to Genting was March 2024! Love the cool weather in Genting!
I been there several times since it is just a short journey from the city of Kuala Lumpur. I drive my car up there to test my driving skills every several months and I enjoyed free stay at the hotel thanks to the membership that the resort provided me. I would enjoy the theme park with my friends only. Good video.

I first visited Genting Highlands Pahang way back in 1970 : it was build in around 1966...

im leaving genting now and im tearing up since it was so fun experiencing what fum has for me and my family the hotel was good rides were very fun my favourite ride was soaring ships so i guess every good thing has to come to an end well it was fun

I prefer the older Genting. It looks too overdone, cluttered, kind of soulless. To create magic there must be a sense of wonder, not overdose of lights and sound

Did u visit very recently? Was it rainy and windy during the day and night time? Not sure how reliable is the weather forecast as it shows 70 to 80% high chance of rain. Planning to go skyworld on tues n chin swee temple wed.

Es increíble estar todo el día en el centro comercial Genting Highland de Malasia! It's never being stop to feel exciting for the whole new adventure that I've ever thought I could have. Genting highland Malaysia would juz be the best recommendation I'd ever shared with my frens. It's not only a wholly playful adventure Genting Highland park but its intriguingly exciting experiences would juz be a brand new memories that I'd have been piercing up together since my childhood. 😄

Genting should be the biggest single owner’s mountain top resort in the world! First world hotel itself is already the biggest hotel in terms of numbers of room (more than 7000rooms).

wich is the best way to go from KL? BUS, train?? what station is it in KL? TBS????
We went from KL Sentral by bus twice and find it very convenient. You can also find bus ticket from TBS.
Frequent bus and easy to buy tickets.
It's better to by return tickets too as you see in the video, tickets sold out fast during the weekend and we almost had to stay in Genting fi we missed our bus that day.

We saw road path and people driving to the temple. First stop of the cable car.
We are not sure if there is a hiking path to the top. Would be curious to know if you did it for the next time ;)

Where did you buy your ticket bus ?
We bought the bus ticket directly at KL Sentral. Come early if you come on weekend... the bus tickets are sold out very quick.
Do we have to get off from the cable car to the temple or we can keep going?
You can go directly to the mall if you don't want to stop at the temple ;)

Hi can you please advise if jts fine to explore in a day if I start early from KL sentral or should we book a room at Genting highland.
Hello, it depends on what you want to do in Genting highland. We did it in one day from KL Sentral. We visit the temple, a little the casino but we stayed only 30 minutes and the mall.
It was really nice, we enjoyed it.
If you plan to go during the weekend, go early to the cable car to go down in order to take the bus back to KL. It can get really crowded and we almost miss our bus back... All the bus tickets was already sold out so if we missed it we had to stay one night in a hotel. Luckily, we caught our bus in time haha
