It's such a pity that Atsushi can't control his ability. He is only able to do it because he joined the agency, otherwise he would just transform in the moonlight without knowing it as it is shown in the first episode. It that wasn't the case it'd definietly be one of the strongest abilities.

An interesting but very frustrating ability to examine is the Scarlet letter. Which, in almost no way depicted the actual representation of the book, the scarlet letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It would be cool if we got a video specifically demonstrating what some of the abilities potential could’ve held, if they had stuck to the rubric of the original books. Like Black Cat in the Rue Morgue (The Black cat by E.A. Poe.), more expansion on Higuchi Ichiyō, Tachihara Michzō, and many others.

I'd put atsushi higher due to the extra benefits such as insane healing abilities that even allow him to regenerate limbs in seconds, enhanced senses etc minus the transformation his ability gives.

I wish this video would include the manga-only characters (tho they will be in the new season too soon), they got powerful abilities and SPOILERS? most of them were able to defeat the characters shown in this video (like we saw in the 6th episode of the 4th season that Gogol was able to "defeat" Atsushi and he didn't get hurt at all, as Atsushi said he has an ability that a villain definitely shouldn't have)
And the Gaiden characters too! Tsujimura has quite a scary ability when used correctly, and Ayatsuji is down right insane. He would literally be able to kill almost any character in an instant.

BBTML has so much potential and with atsushi being it’s holder I can see him becoming one of the strongest in the verse as manga is still ongoing, and Dogra Mangra is a super strong ability, it just can’t affect lovecraft but otherwise it’s absurdly strong

atsushis will surpass with more combat experience what makes chuuya and dazai strong is their experience , aktagawa and atsushi match perfectly in battle and i think thats what dazai saw
I think Aku and Sushi together can defeat just about anything, but so could Chuuya and Dazai. Dazai with both his strategy and ability allow Chuuya to use an already incredibly powerful ability to a degree he can't alone. It's all about balance.
Yosano's ability can heal amyone any time she wants, it was Fukuzawa using his ability who put the drawback on her so that her ability could no longer be abused by others

This series has some of the most interesting Powersets in any Anime,That Beast beneath the Moonlight instantly became one of my Favorites cause I'm a fan of Tigers.

Midwinter memento is so strong and I don't think it gets enough appreciation. Tachihara had the upper hand in any fight eith metallic weapons, if it weren't for the OP nature of the space time sword he would've won his fight against fukuchi
It wasn't revealed yet, how Crime and Punischment works, so it is not the best power for a list Other abilities that should have already been revealed and are surely part of the best abilities are The Overcoat (In the Anime was somethign shown with portals and place transfer ability) Illumination Chuya would have lost if he was alone. in my opinion beast beneath the moonlight roshomon is the best ( it doesnt really count as its two abilities combined ) i also think junichiro's light snow is quite powerful also dazai's no longer human doesnt deserve that much of a high rank cause he will need to actually come in contact beast beneath the moonlight deserves a higher rank cause he can break through space and roshomon + the healing ability is insane he can restore in the blink of an eye + the increased sense of smell and eyesight and it gives him extreme speed and strength and stamina sigma's ability is also strong as he can send ppl into como's and know their secrets nikolai;s overcoat is also strong cause yk just stealing a leg is not very easy and he can make things including himself teleport lucy ( the fourth dimension is practically her own mansion) and teruko's ability are quite terrifying even tacchihara cause almost defeating that over powered grandpa is not easy ( i totally did not list a hell lot of abilities )

You fundamentally don’t understand the strengths of this show and why people like it if you are making videos like this. The fights in bsd are made short for a reason. People are much more interested in the characters, their relatable mental health, their gay ships, their relation to their irl author, and the overall character interaction/plot as they use their bonds to survive another day together. Illumination Chuya would have lost if he was alone. Same goes obviosly for dazai
Goncharovs Power is also extremely Powerful, as long the user is not as arrogant and dumb as goncharov
And then there were none at least sounds strong, also considering it is used by Agatha who seems to stand above the guild by allowing them to do something.

I love a lot of different anime's but like demon slayer and I've been watching Gundam way back when it ALL started in the U.C. universe, since I was 8 years old, all the way up to Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Which I love as much. Bottom line what I'm trying to say is DAZAI is incredible to me in SOOOOOO many ways 💯💯💯💯🥳🥳🥳

in my opinion beast beneath the moonlight roshomon is the best ( it doesnt really count as its two abilities combined )
i also think junichiro's light snow is quite powerful
also dazai's no longer human doesnt deserve that much of a high rank cause he will need to actually come in contact
beast beneath the moonlight deserves a higher rank cause he can break through space and roshomon + the healing ability is insane he can restore in the blink of an eye + the increased sense of smell and eyesight and it gives him extreme speed and strength and stamina
sigma's ability is also strong as he can send ppl into como's and know their secrets
nikolai;s overcoat is also strong cause yk just stealing a leg is not very easy and he can make things including himself teleport
lucy ( the fourth dimension is practically her own mansion) and teruko's ability are quite terrifying
even tacchihara cause almost defeating that over powered grandpa is not easy
( i totally did not list a hell lot of abilities )
the boss's ability we havent seen its full potential there is a reason why i feel cuz his has conditions but makes me wonder

You fundamentally don’t understand the strengths of this show and why people like it if you are making videos like this. The fights in bsd are made short for a reason. People are much more interested in the characters, their relatable mental health, their gay ships, their relation to their irl author, and the overall character interaction/plot as they use their bonds to survive another day together.
