- Tamar Braxton bared her feelings out in a long message on social media, stating why she actually divorced her husband, Vince Herbert, after almost 9 years of marriage. Tamar alluded to that Vince had several girlfriends and also revealed that she can no longer fake being happy in her marriage. She said when Vince threatened to pushed her out of their home, she was officially done with the marriage.

lol i made the too close home comment and now im feeling myself😂😘. But I honestly never really liked tamar til her recent breakfast club interview. I feel like she is just now being herself.
I believe she dealt with a lot of insecurities that lead to her relationship with Vince and in turn he kind of maybe started feeling himself. I think Christina Aguilera spoke about something similar in her relationship to her ex husband who she worked close with. She has a song called "Stronger Than Ever" about it which kinda detailed her husband coming into her life and then making her feel like she wasn't always good enough and how she lost herself. Her song "You Lost Me" is also about their relationship.
So, sometimes you go through these relationships and when they're over you're allowed to become yourself. Tamar does seem like a handful but again, Vince seems like he started feeling himself a bit and she started pretty much giving up everything to be with him. Almost as if he wanted to be the PROVIDER and in charge and she pretty much said "OH WELL YOU LEAD THE WAY" and shit fell apart.
Anywho, I hope she returns to music. She's so talented. Demi Lovato has a song called Cry Baby that IMO sounds so much like something Tamar Braxton would've sang and passed on for her new album. Good luck to her.

Why didn't her Mother do something like call 911 if all this beat downs were going on, also when he got sued and lost......it really looks like she is try to make sure she doesn't lose her money. She does have a lot of mouth, and I couldn't stand some of the stuff she yanked about.

It's unfortunate that people don't believe Tamar. People assume that Vince is all innocent cause he's more reserved, but abusers are sometimes like that in public. I remember when she gave birth and he took the baby inside and left her in the car with all of the bags and stuff...😒 Always telling her to "watch her mouth." Always seeming annoyed when she's joking around trying to make him laugh. I remember a scene where she flinched when he touched her. Tamar has been abused in the past where she ended up with a broken nose. Abusers try to silence people like Tamar behind closed doors. Why do you think she's always doing the most? She's finding her voice. Vince knows no one will believe her cause she's "loud, ratchet, petty" etc. That doesn't mean she's not being abused. I believe it. You have to watch the ones who you can't imagine it coming from. Vince seems super sweet and charming and they're usually the ones who abuse their family (emotionally and physically) behind close doors. A few months ago i went back and watched all the old seasons of Tamar and Vince on Hulu. I’ve been in emotional and mentally abusive relationships. The things that he did in the show reminded me so much of the things that person used to do to me. He broke my spirit so much that when we were out to eat i only looked at my food and him. I literally put my head down on the table once when a guy i knew walked in, so the guy wouldn’t come over and speak. I wish Tamar the best. Being in that type of situation is literally hell.
Jesus Christ. Social media is truly the devil. We have celebrities and even regular folk writing bibliographies, thesis statements and SYNOPSIS on social media to complete strangers. To ppl who’s waiting to beat you down and not build you up, to ppl who don’t have your best interest at hand, to ppl who have limited thinking skills, are immature, inarticulate, no analytical skills and are self absorbed. Why must ppl have to prove anything to their fans or followers??? Is their lives that incomplete? I’m from the old school so when things like divorce and trauma is happening in my life I️ turn to my family, my pastor or my therapist. Tamar has always been "over the top" and not the most truthful angel in the choir . Vince probably abused her , yes , but in a way , she abused him with her mouth . Their show demonstrates that they were never compatible as a couple . I believe Tamar wants her sie of the story out there before Vince assassinates her character . Nothing about this is shocking. Tamar has always been a spectacle. Everything about her has to be a Grande stand. When people put on like that, allllllll the time, it's because they're masking. So no, their divorce does not surprise me at all. The dynamic we saw between them just on T.V. seemed abusive. Her all up in his face, yelling and screaming. Him allowing her to brat out. It's unhealthy..very, very unhealthy. I can see both of them contributing equally to the destruction of their marriage. Tbh...their relationship seemed like doomsday from the beginning.
And her posting about it on Instagram is exactly what I mentioned earlier, Tamar grand standing. She's adding to the messiness of this already messy divorce. But again, that's ALWAYS been Tamar's m.o. She lives for the mess. Anything to keep her relevant. For the sake of their CHILD she AND Vince need to keep it hush for a while. Get the divorce and move on.

I commend Tamar for walking away , not being messy shaming Vince and doing what best for her First but also keeping in mind that she has to still share a child with him , their son Logan. She is strong and has a great family. Vince is crazy for all those horrible things .

I sort of figured that when the show was on. He is to much in her space, telling her what to do when to, yea that is not cool at all and very disrespectful. He would have been beat down along time ago. Tamar hat God has for you is for you. He bought you this far he I'll not leave you ever. I knew by her actions she was angry, her sister's should have been there as well as her dad, to assure her she had support. That's what family do. Abuse is one thing but almost all the other reasons you can over come with time and counseling. Today people give up on marriage a little too quickly. If you were to talk with a couple that was married 40 or 50yrs they would tell you there was a few years when they could not stand each other. The vowels you say really does mean something so be careful who you decide to take this journey with. Now don't get me wrong sometimes you have to separate to remember why you fell in love with that person in the first place.

Marriage is a lot of work, and I can only imagine how it feels when you feel like you're the only one putting in that work. Recently her vibe has been very sad to me, so I hope that this will bring some happiness back into her life as she gets to know herself again. It can be so easy to lose yourself in your marriage, so I hope she finds the happiness she deserves.
