  • I'm still a newbie when it comes to making pizza and using pizza ovens. I'm just recording every single pizza I make with the Expert Grill Charcoal Pizza oven to share on this RUclips channel.
The hardest part of this oven is keeping the fire going and the heat inside. I will be working on some small tweaks to hopefully improve that.
When I'm ready to use this oven. I will pre-heat it for maybe 45 minutes to an hour with really hot fire. Then when I'm ready to make the pizza, I will put oil wood chunks and make sure I have a flame going before I put the pizza in.
I normally make 4 pizzas, the first one always comes out the best and then I have trouble keeping the fire going, sometimes it's too hot or not hot enough by the time I come back with the next pizza to bake. I'm staring to get better with it, the more time you spend messing with it, the easier it gets.
Thanks for watching, Happy Pizza Making
I will be posting more about this oven on my new pizza blog pizzafan.club/...

Your crust looks great, that's my preferred style not too thin. What's your dough recipe if you don't mind sharing. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the slow reply. I normally used the wood chunks of hickory from Walmart. Pretty much any hard wood will do. It’s easier to manage the fire with smaller chunks of wood instead of bigger logs.

What's the maximum size pizza this thing can handle?
