Since he didnt really tell u the major difference of the navy pistol and the brass pistol i gotchu. There is only one difference between the two that is majorly different and that is.... The officers charge. The brass pistol is the most effective weapon to build up an officers charge due to the spread and 5 pellets hitting multiple zombies at once reliably. This being more reliable than the db pistol and the pistol at doing so. This gun is ok for bombers but u need to get pretty close This gun can build charge rapidly while you are at a relatively safe distance. This is extremely helpful if you are at low hp and can be extremely useful in hoard sections or endless. If this gun was like the Navy pistol than it would be way too over powered as the officer will build pretty much half of its charge with one shot giving it no reason to be front lining. The brass pistol is an alternative way to build charge for the officer while still not being as good as using your sword trading distance for a slower recovery.
@@engineergaming8272 you are partially correct. Since it is like a miniature navy pistol it can be more effective at hitting targets close to mid range... Though its charge purpose is still the selling point of the gun.
Man, I also hate how people dumb down the brass pistol into an inferior version of this gun when they don’t even take into account how well it synergizes with the officer playstyle and how op it would be if they just gave it the same stats as the navy pistol.
It dosn’t really synergize well with the officer playstyle. The longer reload and high spread make it less efficent at taking out bombers and the ability to fire multiple pellets dosn’t let it deal much more damage. I agree that it should be weaker then navy pistol but it needs a buff to be good.
"it would be op if they gave it the same stats as the navy pistol" maybe cuz if it had the same stats it would be the *same fucking gun* do you even know what stats mean???
here is my personal opinion about the Navy Pistol: -fast reloading speed -the range is mid but still good enough to shoot bomber and igniter -low penetration but who cares -good enough damages to instakill Zappers
Penetration does matter because zombies form hordes, and HVTs like bombers/igniters/zappers linger in the back due to speed/behaviors. Also it's not the damage but pellet count which lets it kill zaps.
I feel like navy pistol should have a faster reload speed by a little bit because it can only hit 3x less shamblers than the blunderbuss, either that or make the shove faster The increased spread is also surprisingly good for crowds that are spread out instead of grouped in a file line
close combat:navy pistol a litte bit further to the back:blunderbuss mid range:nockgun these gun are just like line infantry side grade blunderbuss=musket navy pistol=carbine nockgun=rifle
@@NotANormalNoob01 Rifle is also meant for killing a lot of zombies in a straight line. Nock gun is also very precise so they are very simular. And they are both good against sappers.
Okay listen, each class has their own strengths. The officer is for shooting barrels, seaman is for hordes, sapper is to defend, surgeon is to heal, Chaplin is well to be a support. One thing that no class has a strength in, is taking out strong enemies fast and accurately, while also being able to kill enemies from long ranges, therefore proving, that the rifle is an low A tier gun. @@SnoozorSnooz Bayonett and heavy sabre ruins high hp easy and so does blunderbuss doing over twice the dmg of the rifle at close range also the pick and the musket does a good enough job too the only thing the rifle has is range but range is just not usefull, Thank you for coming to my talk TED
