1. Assume every girl has a boyfriend already. Don't ask if she's single. Just push forward and let her decide if she thinks you're worth pursuing.
2. Most Filipinas don't like foreigners. So if you want to break through you need to be fit, attractive, and make your offer attractive to her...help her to see that being with you will be good for her and her family. She needs to see herself with you in the future, so paint a picture that is appealing to her.
3. You're probably not going to date a real estate agent or a bank teller. But, it's ok. Many guys find beautiful wonderful sweet Filipinas to date and marry. You just need to understand that you are dating the bottom rung of society, and so you need to understand that part of the equation is they're dating you to have a better life.

What woman in this world isn’t looking for financial security and support? Com’On guys, let’s get real. I’ve weeded close to 100 Filipina’s to find the one I’m dating now. If the woman you’re talking to starts asking for money for food, medicine, rent - You are NOT the Red Cross. Dump and move on. Some maybe in it for the long haul con, but understanding Filipino culture, they aren’t built for any long term cons. They are always IN THE MOMENT. Future planning isn’t in their DNA. They will expose themselves really quickly. Keep your EYES 👀 open, know who you are dealing with, and get that prenuptial signed before hand. If it’s love, then NP, but if she has an issue with it, move on.

Met on-line, we skyped for 4 years before ever meeting. Have been married 9 years now and we have an 8 year old child. I brought her to the US for 8 years and now I just retired and we moved to the Philippines permanently 16 months ago. It can work. No marriage is perfect.
This man isn’t lying. I’m 27 6 ft 3 with a very athletic build and pretty financially stable. So I’ve been dating this Filipina for 2 years just to find out she already has a boyfriend and let me tell you this girl is absolutely gorgeous. She’s been soaking up my time and mainly my money just so she can go back and bring it to her boyfriend. We got into a huge argument and she starting saying things I would never imagine her saying. Stuff like you’re a foreigner what did you expect? You can come to a poor country and think all the women will bow down? You foreigners really think you are above everyone and but sadly couldn’t find a woman in the states you’re probably a nobody at home also. Yeah alot more was said but it hurt me bad. But a few months later my buddy experienced something similar… so fellas if you are reading this comment be aware it’s not safe anywhere.

If I didn’t go there I would have agreed with this comment, but happen to me as well and I’m above average for a tourist there (29 years old ), in that country I’m easily a 8.2/10 overall compared to people there, same happen to me all were not single, and I did see half of their boyfriends come to pick them up to make sure I wasn’t being lied too 😂

I lived in the Philippines 5 years and this simply is not so. The reason young pretty Filipinas want foreigners is financial and westerner men are more worldly and capable. The treatment I get from Filipinos is respect. The women know if they marry a Filipino they will make babies and live in poverty. Their only ticket out is to find a foreigner. Families push the daughters to find a foreigner to get money back to the family. They are basically a happy, friendly people that like Americans and westerners in general.
Personally, I want a girl that does not have good options. The higher the education, the more money her family has, the better a job she has- the more likely she will hit the road when things get tough. Maybe that is a hard truth too.

But, if a person puts the time, children heart and finance into someone, you don't want them taking-off when times get tough. The American 52% divorce rate is only an average. For every additional degree a woman has, for every higher echelon of pay she has, for every higher corporate title she has- studies have shown she is more likely to divorce. Divorce gets into the 80% levels. Statistics show 73% of divorces are initiated by women. That's not good for society, nor the people themselves. Our Western societies think people are to be thrown away when they do not match our ideals.

The thing is that what you refer to as "the bottom 15" is the top 1% to most good Foreigners. The "bottom 1%" mentality is why marriage-minded men are leaving the west for Filipinas to start with, js. The Philippines still has traditional women ("the bottom 1%" in a westernized mindset) where in the USA, good luck finding such at all. That's just my take on it.

I tend to agree. A high percentage of women that date marry foreigners do not do so out of attraction or love. They do it out of necessity or need. By definition, that would put them in the lower tiers of society. Unless you are an attractive man around the same age as your GF/wife, it isn’t real. It is rare that a foreigner would be their first choice. Know the game. Know the rules. Win the game. If you want a meaningful deep connection with someone, go for a person that doesn’t have to worry about their physiological and safety needs. In China my past girlfriends used sometimes not let me pay, Once going out with one who brought some friends, she knew I was getting low on funds and she slipped me money and said use it to pay for her friends so I could get face. My past Filipina GF (in the US so I mean is different of course) but she used to pay if her kid came or just when she had money to help) At bars in China back before I married my Chinese wife, Id go into a bar and look for a table with girls (off work and out w friends, not bar girls) and they would be like hey come here, and we'd party and play dice, they'd eventually kind of leave me to talk w the single one and basically they would not even LET me pay all night. I know not necessarily the Phills but still in any country in Asia, there are good ones if you are fun and not creepy, and if you go to the right places. The Chinese bars I used to go to mostly never had a white face in there. I mean I'd get pulled up on stage and given beers to chug w the DJ. What this guy says is true though - if you are in places where expat hunters go, you will be the prey. If you are out there acting like Mr Moneybags and that's what you are bringing to the table, that's how you'll be perceived forever by that girl. I do have blond hair and blue eyes... but I'm otherwise no looker, bigger muscles than typical Asian guy for sure, but not skinny or tall... I was mostly 30s to 40 during all those bad boy years though. Now at 50, if I god forbid ended up single, I still think I could do alright. A lot of Asian guys take themselves too seriously and the women like it when you are fun to be around. LOL, my biological uncle told me he met my Filipina aunt in the Phillz by going to a hospital and sitting outside on a bench eating his lunch and striking up conversations with pretty nurses. I only met them later in my life, but they've been together for more than 20 years and are a hilarious, fun to be around couple living in the USA w two kids. She used to try to hook me up with her nieces back home every time I visited with them in Ohio.
I've traveled to 15 different countries and been to the Philippines multiple times. I don't know what girls this guy is talking to but what is saying isn't true. There's plenty of single beautiful women in the Philippines that would definitely prefer dating a foreigner over a local.

I think both are true. I know three guys that married beautiful Filipinas and they’re lovely wives (one of these marriages has lasted over 20 years).
But these guys were in their 20s and 30s and married women within 10 years of their age.

The meme of "just be white bro" in regards to attracting women is both outdated and no longer true in Asia.
I agree for the most part being Filipina American but in the case of a young foreigner, he may find someone in the upper echelon of Philippine society because he is young. A judge can declare that you are married to her and with divorce coming soon, yea its a pump and dump, except you the dumped one. And do not expect a judge to rule in your favor if you are up against a native in court. There have been a series of anti-foreigner law passed in the las few years. I personally know of one guy who was declare to be married to his maid/girlfriend. Now he has to support her, her two children she had before him and her mother and father.

So it is not 1%, it is more like 80% who are living on the lower rungs of society. The middle class in your country is only about 19% of the population, those with nice houses, cars, office jobs, business owners, relatives with good jobs abroad kicking money back home, etc... It is all about finding the right ones. I would suggest joining a Church and meeting them there!!! Picking up Filipinas who hang in bars and expat places, will lead to disaster!!! Obviously a girl from a wealthy family isn't likely to seek out an American with a pension who is old enough to be her father, but that doesn't mean a girl with a college degree who is from a lower class family would rule you out. I don't think you can judge the attitude of Filipinas, based on what your experience on Walking Street. There are plenty of self sufficient career girls even in Angeles, who you will find don't have boyfriends. However you always say you are single and cool so aren't you really aiming at the bottom of their society like most guys who go to Angeles,, so you can't complain, you are hitting the targets you want? I would agree with you that there is more negativity about foreigners, most Filipinas prefer Filipinos(Forget how many times I have been told that!) and there are certainly double standards applied when Filipinas deal with foreigners in general.

Living in Angeles City is crazy. That place is only for visiting for about a week or two. I've never had problem picking up women while there. Matter of fact, that's one of the few places I've been where beautiful women pursue me. I lived in Cebu and traveled throughout the country and never experienced any of these issues.

I disagree. My wife of 10+ years was from Cebu. She has a degree,speaks 4 languages, and worked for the government. Her father retired from the police and has extensive land holdings. She is NOT a child bride that most westerners seem to prefer. When we married I was 53 and she was 42.If you're in your 50's or older and think a 20 something is interested in you it's your own fault.

I would not characterize single mothers who've been abandoned by their Filipino partners and are in need of financial support as being "the bottom 1%" of society. I'm sure there are plenty of people in all socioeconomic classes whose character is inferior to some of these women, such as the men who abandoned them. I also believe love can develop over time in a relationship which had a relatively pragmatic genesis.
As an upper-middle class American, I'd say most foreigners and expats I have met in Southeast Asia are 1% of the Trash Men from USA, Britain, Australia, etc... Some serious losers and weirdos. So it is only befitting that trash will find trash.

Met my filipina wife online, she's college educated works in a hospital, good family, often taken the lead with paying for things without me asking (always a thing), Christian, and wants to build a future w me in the phillipines not the usa. Not really true. If you’re a late 30’s early 40’s and still decent looking + not overweight, you’ll easily bag an educated middle class Filipina gem of 28-35. Which for me as a late 30’s guy is the ideal.
