(Pump is for Summer Waves 14x42 Pools)
This shock system gives you 4 bags of shock and 2 bags of solve.
I did one bag of shock every night. Followed by solve the next day in the skimmer. Cleaned the filter every day and skimmed.
Next video is to vacuum!
Thanks for watching.

Hey there, FYI if you have to use this product again put the 1 bag of shock in & let it run for an hour to mix. Then, put the Green To Blue II in & run for an hour. After that turn the pump off & let it sit overnight. The 2nd bag is a flocking agent that drops everything to the bottom of the pool leaving the top portion clear. Then vacuum the waste at the bottom & you're set. I use this at the beginning of each swim season on a 25k gallon 20' x 40' pool. It works great.
In the skimmer? What if you don’t have a skimmer?
I have the exact same pool with the exact same pump… that I know off you cannot do vacuum to waste… do you know another alternative.
How do you vacuum it if yr pool not set up to use such stuff I'm just trying to figure it out myself I used the water hose vacuum that they recommend for this pool but all the stuff just come through the netting it got on it. Is there a way to do it I really don't want to drain my pool if I don't have to thank you very much
@@micheleraulerson9311 you can get a hose and get a syphon going just throw the other end out and vacuum the bottom
@@angelica274 real funny hahaha
Bless his heart...directions....work better
I used this. It worked great, cleared the3 water and put all the algae on the bottom.
BUT when I tried to vacuum it up the particles were too fine for the filter.
Solved that problem by discharging the water to the street instead of through the filter
You're supposed to do #1 first at one time. Using 2 bags for the smaller pool is fine. Then after a few hours you'd do the bag 2 (1 bag is fine for your smaller pool). You're to turn the pump off and let everything settle. Then the #2 attaches to all the "funk" in the pool and sinks it to the bottom. Vacuum and done! Gorgeous crystal clear water! We've used this system for years with a 26' pool. Love it!
Thanks this was very helpful 👍🏽
I found it best too also get liquid shock seem's better plus I got an intex sand filter pump of amazon clears it up so much better just giving alittle suggestion and advice ! 🤗
to not too, off not of, a little not alittle. god damn peggy get your shit together lol
Good job
Great video .. I have 11,000 gal Intex .. I take a snow shovel and stir and create a whirlpool .. I have sand filter which Is a great pump … I have to vacuum and brush the sides
You should read the directions. You put #1 shock in water around the pool wait few minutes then put #2 slowly in skimmer same day. Wait 24 hrs then vacuum.
Thats what he did there deputy doofy! what are you on about....
@@ryancanney8620 🤣🤣🤣
haha, I like the commercial at the beginning :)
He's a natural! I like his commercial better than any of the youtube commercials 😄
I'm gonna set up my pool next week...maybe 😄
Dude your pool was insane! Heater and all
I'm no pro or anything, or a sales man. But if you live where it freezes in winter, even a little, drain your pool below the in and outlet. And disconnect lowest part of hoses to drain that. It could help save your pumps or other parts. I'm waking up my pool right now- not as nasty as yours, but not that far off. Lots of clotty algea, yum. Gonna dry it out and smoke it,
see what it does, lol no way, i do have some gummies tho, lol.
You needed to check and adjust pH before shocking it
I screwed up big time! I put I and II into the filter thinking it was 2 packs of II. Think I'll be okay or will it melt my entire pump system. :P I put that on circulate.
Your pump end up circulating it alright?
@@insanedrummer89 So far so good. I just read the instruction back of I and it says "do not use in floater or feeder". What does that mean? Does that include in skimmer? I put it there when I thought it was 2 bags of the II so it would circulate faster.
@@selmagalev2095 I did the II in my skimmer but yeah it’s suppose to take contaminants to the bottom to be vacuumed
All thos chemicals are more expensive than just draining, washing and filling that small pool
I used this, and it killed all the algae and left a pool full of dead algae at the bottom. It took me two days to vacuum out that crap.

And it is in liquid form
Part 2 ??
Another pool video coming soon indeed
Can i just run step 1 and not step 2? We dont have a skimmer
Apparently you do step 1 wait a couple of hours then step 2. Then vacuum
Did you ever get this figured out I don’t have a skimmer either
@@killadocg23 it worked for me.use both bags and it turns it from green to blue. You dont have to have a skimmer
@@killadocg23 not sure
I never put #2 in my skimmer, as I don't want that running through my sand filter. I walk it around like the shock. It works perfect. Make sure to turn your pump OFF after putting in #2 and let it attach and sink all the funk to the bottom. Vacuum and done!
Who I would drain that pool. And clean it.
Yeah that’s what I ended up doing lol. Pressure washing and sump pumping.
This is done incorrectly. You’re supposed to put in number one, let it circulate for a couple hours in the pool… Then if you have a cartridge filter, take out the cartridge so it’s recirculating and NOT GOING IN A FILTER and put in number two. Number 2 should never go through any filter. It’s recirculate only! Let that go for a couple hours and then turn it off for overnight or even a little longer depending on your pool severity. The number 2 is flock and it needs to settle on the bottom with no flow.
I have a cartridge filter. Your saying I let 1 circulate with filter and when I put 2, take out cartridge and recirculate for an hour and then shut off for it to settle? I’m new to owning a pool and it turned green a day ago. So I want to try this. I am upgrading my pump but don’t want to wait til Tuesday when it gets here.
😂🤦🏻♀️🫣 Ugh I knew I’ve been doing something wrong this whole time. Lol I’m so glad I seen this comment.
So you saying put in #1 with NO cartridge filter to allow it to recirculate and then put in #2 with NO filter, also? Also, what to do with no vacuum to vaccum stuff from pool floor?
@@jbizzlefashizzle
Take the cartridge out for distribution of bag number 2. If you don’t have a skimmer you can pour it slowly where the water goes into the pool from the filter so it distributes around the pool. Skimmers for these pools are pretty cheap and work well also.
Then vacuum the next day by using a hose and siphon out the dead algae debris from the bottom. You can search diy siphon vacuum and make a vacuum head with a plastic container.
Wow you didn’t read the directions at all! After shocking you put the flocculant (bag 2) in the skimmer but the pump needs to be on RECIRCULATE NOT filter. Then you turn it off and let it sit. Floc is not meant to run through your filter
I tried but I’m a man, so the man powers were too strong.
Besides this cheap pool don’t even have that fancy of a pump, there’s on and off mode that’s about it haha.
Nicole, if you noticed at all, he's running a paper filter, not a sand filter. He doesn't have those options.
@@jamesmolesson9991 yea, ol cheapy cheap lol. I have a sand filter but I don’t know how to adapt it
@@insanedrummer89 I had the very same pool and external filter like yours. There's some really good info on how to convert it to a sand filter. Do it, you won't regret it. I've been running a good sand filter on my Intex and Summer Waves pools now for a several years. Email me (or contact me on here some how) and I'll give you the link.
It also says don't use it with a cartridge filter. Lol
This crap doesn’t work at all
It does work. He did not follow the directions or do it correctly.
