I just used this method to remove the outer bushing on a new wheel that I was having difficulty getting on because of the gap between bushings. Great, thanks!

Replace with full ball bearing. Shouldered type 1-3/4” OD by 3/4” ID 😊

So what is meant to wear down - the bushings or the axle? Is the fix for the slightly wobbly (bit of play) tire new bushings ?

If the wheel itself is wobbly then ya probably the bushings . If the steering is loose then probably the pinion gear.

Hey! I see that this is a old video, but i hope for a response. I just took out mines today and was hoping to find bearings like in my atv,but these bushings are new to me. Is it posible to replace them with bearings?
