I cried at the first line "And now the end is near" remembering my dear husband who died in January this year. He would have loved this version by Yseult.
So Beautiful. Her voice and range was exceptional. I am from the USA and went to Paris for the opening ceremonies and first week. After seeing that performance, I wish I had seen the closing ceremony. France did an excellent job with hosting the Olympics. Thank you, Paris. I hope to come back to visit again. Beautiful Memories!!!
TU, glad u enjoyed!! Olympics are also a moment of sharing, and to share we need someone else, like foreign tourists for instance!! We did well i think, u ( the foreign tourists ) did well too, which finally gave a wonderful 15 days party!! thanks to all!!

California better not embrarass us 😂 My mom & I were literally crying for the 2024 opening & closing ceremonies. She said, "Come on America, you have four years to prepare, dammit!"
It will be hollywood and showtime in LA; but you will never be able to provide such moments. This Paris was unique and will not exist anymore, even for us, french people
What an amazing end to the summer Olympics. Paris definitely did a classy job! I was in tears❤ loved the wat LA took the Olympics flag, but what a disappointment having Snoop and a half-naked dancer. Is that the kind of message we want to send our youths?
I'll never understand the empty seats. Putting yourself through the hustle of an olympic trip. Just to leave ealier for convenience. Congrats, you've missed the bouquet final. Et quel bouquet. Comme d'habitude, les gens m'étonnent ...

"Comme d’habitude" is a song written by Gilles Thibaut and Claude François, with a music composed by Jacques Revaux and Claude François; a french song, then.
Interesting so many ignorants like you knowing nothing to the artists and songs that played at both ceremonies but trying to criticize. You should be embarrassed by your lack of culture but since you dont even realize how short you're falling, not any risk.
Dommage que nous ne voyons pas les spectateurs à la tv. C'est une perspective très poignante. Tout de même les spectateurs viennent pour l'ambiance car vous voyez les artistes sur les écrans.
You dont know anything so don't try to shit on these events for the simple reason that your sh*t country will never be able to do something as great as what France did with Paris 2024.
Parceque la version en français en la version ne disent pas du tout la même chose. Et que pour la passation de la France à l'os Angeles le message de la version anglaise correspondait le mieux
It's a French song written by a French song writer actually. My Way is only its English version that was released by Sinatra after the success of the French one by Claude François.
To finish those Olympics with “I did it my way” with this amazing voice was so touching ❤❤❤❤❤

Ils le feront à leurs manières. Je prédis beaucoup d'effets visuels etc pour compenser le manque de lieu emblématique à part les lettres Hollywood.

The only French singer that I know. Why they show gaga n Celine, they are not born and raised in France..
So what ? Both Gaga and Celine have long and close deals with France. Glad that my country was not egocentric for these worldwide ceremonies.
