This is what people don't understand about the attraction of CC..her focus on ball movement, the court vision on her passes.. it's so far ahead of the average WNBA player and the fun is in anticipation of what she might do with the ball. It not that she's "fancy" or flashy with her passes as much as it's quick and efficient fundamental basketball passes, a kind of lost art in today's dribble-dribble-shake-n-bake era. And she can do that street style and the run-n-gun too. And then there's the step-back threes and the logo threes that no on else doing quite on her level. And with all of that going for her - she's incredibly unselfish. I scratch my head over the number of games where she could've triple doubled or double-doubled but didn't go after it. Her attitude is about team and bonding and winning and you can tell it looking at her effort. She's as much a throwback player as she is a futuristic style player. No disrespect to any other WNBA star, but it's CCs full package that's so entertaining. This why we watch, buy the tickets, buy the jerseys, and stay tuned in.

Through the simple motivation of her talent & hard working example, Clark has made the players on the Fever team work harder and play harder than they ever thought they would or could. What can Clark NOT DO on the BB court? She drives, she fakes, she dekes, she stalls & changes direction dribbling behind her back. She throws 3/4 court long passes. With her free hand, she chases off anybody grabbing her. Then she drives again and stalls on a lay-up to dime out a pass from the paint to hot hand three-pointers! I am so excited to see her play! She's so agile, if she wore knee pads, she'd be breaking ankles on every drive! They would ban her from wearing eye protection so they can see where she's looking! She makes Taurasi want to quit! Griner gets lost!

She is the best player in the WNBA.
The only basketball I've ever watched with any consistency has been March madness (men's.) But talent is talent and as so many top players past and present have said, Caitlin Clark is on another level. And I am sure unless she gets a career ending injury from all the physical abuse she's been subjected to (which is insane and needs to end) I have no doubt she'll end up as one of the greatest basketball players of all time--regardless of gender. It speaks volumes to the level of her game that she has been justifiably compared to everyone from Larry Bird to Stephen Curry.
