    Thanks for the storage tip regarding not leaving it rolled up on a shelf. I would have done just that unless the instructions (yeah, I actually read most of them) specifically called that out.

    Thanks. Very informative. Didn't realise it had to be kept inflated. Will go for standard foam.

    Self Inflated foam will only last 4 years before degrades but it gives more comfort than air matress, more rigidity and less noise.

    It's important to open mattress once a month so it doesn't memorise your sleeping position,dune is so far most affordable and long lasting 👌

    You have 3 mattresses in front of you and the third one is the top of the line. Yet you only talk about the other two? I would have like to have seen a difference between all three.

      Hi there! We don't mention / endorse any particular brand names as the brands we sell constantly change if something better comes along :) The footage is to explain the differences and pros / cons when looking at purchasing a self inflating mattress. If you have any questions or would like to know more, please feel free to call us on 07 5479 3300. Have a great day.. Kerri (Jarrod's wife)

    I always find the valves on these self inflators leak after a few uses because they all seem to use the same generic chinese valves and they can't be taken apart to be repaired.
    Peace

    • @CampingcountryaustraliaAu
      @CampingcountryaustraliaAu  5 лет назад +3

      Valve failure is most definitely the largest issue with Self Inflators! One way to reduce this is by not over tightening the valve (ie: not to over squash or break the rubber o-ring). Hope this helps! Cheers, Jarrod

    I used one like the one in the centre and slept on hard ground all night. That matress was no good for my 120kg body. What to do?

    • @twoflyinghats
      @twoflyinghats 4 года назад

      Get a 10 cm one. I add a wool underlay and a fitted mattress protector under the fitted sheet and it's like sleeping on a regular bed mattress. I wouldn't get anything else.

    I had a self inflating mattress just like the one in the middle, I got it from Aldi in the UK about 20 years ago, cost me £20. Why have they gone up in price so much?

    • @vinceking719
      @vinceking719 4 года назад +2

      Because it's not the one from aldi.
