📙 Backstory:
I wrote "Farewell Abode" in September 2023.
This is a simple piece about missing home and trying to move on. I was visualizing a person just looking off into the distance, being flooded with memories of home.

✨ Highlights:
-There is one main melody which goes back and forth between F major and D minor, with slight variations.
-The accompaniment is quite minimal so as to let the melody take the spotlight.
-The bassline moves diatonically which adds to that "nostalgic" sound.
