I’m using this lens 6 years and I’m still impressed about the quality.
Tha quality is very good!
I love this lens ❤❤❤
I use this lens on my Sony VG30 for both macro and portrait in stills & video. I am now considering buying a Sony A7 Full frame just for the FE90MM alone. I use four basic lenses:- Sony 16mm. Sony 18-200mm PZ . And finally a Tamaron Fisheye lens for scenery.
Thank you very much for your comment. 👍 This lens is one of my favorite lenses that I have ever used. You will have a lot of fun with the new full frame camera. You will get a much better bouquet 😉
yes this my favorite lense. everytime i tried to leave this at home for lighter loading i end up regret that i didn't brought this 90mm with me.
Thank you very much for your comment. 👍 this is also one of my favorite lenses 😉
Great video and excellent information. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your comment. You're welcome! :-)
i think i will get this macro lens, the 70-200 gmii and the sigma 14mm f1.4 as a present from me to me this christmas and maybe a dji rs3 pro to spice up my a7iv
Wow, it seems that you will have a very nice Christmas this year with lots of good presents 😉
but with an empty pocket 😅@@dawa5581
We want to use this lens for gemstone macro photography / camera is sony A7iv ? pls recommend
Yes of course, you can use this combination. All pictures in this video where made also with an A7IV.
@@dawa5581 thanks you very much sir @
Do you think this would be good for a Sony a6400 camera? Thanks!
Thank you for your comment. I also use this lens myself on my A6400. The crop factor of 1.5 allows you to get even closer to the subject.
I've bought a Sony aiii FF camera to use with this lens - same issues as my apsc cameras. I get a beautiful closeup in manual or auto, then it reverts to a more distant but clear image. The Camera Shop Assistants could sort it either.
Thank you for your comment. 👍 That's really strange, I don't have that problem. However, it's also not normal for your lens to do this in manual focus. I hope you can fix it somehow.
@@dawa5581 Thinking that they button didn't work from the start
@@hjones451 do you have a guarantee?
@@dawa5581 only current for the camera sadly
@hjones451 It sounds like you have focus assist turned on in the camera. There is a setting (I believe that is what it is called) that when you adjust focus it zooms in to assist you with getting the sharpest focus possible. Usually this is used with MF or DMF modes and paired with focus peaking. im not sure if it can be enabled for autofocus as well but perhaps it can be if this is the problem. Check your focus settings in the menu and see if you have this turned on.
I love this lens ! ❤👍
Thanks for your comment. 👍 This is one of the best lenses I have use so far
You don't "have to pair it with a weather sealed camera body".
Minimum focus distance isn't 28cm, much closer.
Here are some of the official specifications: "It features 1:1 magnification and a respectable minimum focusing distance of 11.02” (0.28m)".
There is a problem with focus stacking with this len?
No problem here, the focus is very accurate 👍
It focus stacks just fine. I typically stack 50 images per composition.
No problem!
Can i use this lens for couple portrait photos and also micro products photography
it is also a great portrait lens, i have already taken many beautiful portraits. For micro photography, a 2:1 macro is more suitable or you can use a camera with many megapixels where you can crop in.
Dieses Objektiv mit Raynox DCR 250 (8 Dioptrien) bringt es auf 2:1 in beeindruckender Qualität ! ❤
Can I buy it for my Sony a7c ?
Yes of course. If you want to see how it looks I have also a video about it on my channel. 😉
@@dawa5581 thanks 🙏🏻 for your help, can u share the link of the video? ☺️
Well !
I'm getting one today, im using a7iii
Congratulations you will have a lot of fun with this lens. 👍 It’s one of my favorite.
One reason I'm getting it is because I see everyone saying the same great things about it
@@SWERBZ420 it’s one of the best lenses I have ever used. 😍
Hi, I need help when I focus an object up close then I press click my image goes back to normal distance I lose focus of an object. This happens with my macro lens 2.8/90mm and the Sony 200-600mm I also use the Sony a7iii pLEASE HELP 🥹
I'm not sure what your problem could be, but if something like this happens to me it's when I'm too close to the object and have exceeded the min. focus limit. Could that be the reason for your problem?
I think it’s gotta be some kind of setting 🤷🏻♂️ I’m almost ready to give up 😭
@@victorsanchez1983 do you have already tried to set your camera on continuous autofocus?
Yeah . af. In the lens and in the camera too.. I think I’m gonna have to go to a camera shop and pay the 100 bucks one guy there wanted to charge me just to fix the settings 😕
@@victorsanchez1983 hmm, maybe a camera software problem. 🤔 but it works if you focus on things that are far away?
