I loved this talk. I watched it more than twice to learn from it. Essence: 1.understand your audience (specific) 2. Paint a picture using wording and images of your audience 3. Propose Choose a good timing. You need to give, before you ask. So that, when your proposal comes, the ground is ready. The other is already waiting for your proposal.
I just went to Kent State today to try and get people to sign on for government positions. I come from a literary background. I cannot wait to use these techniques!!!
"Stories are proven to affect behavior!" -- I love the message but I just remember that one moment where so many people just went, "I have no enemies" after that vinland saga scene.
God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.
In other words, teach yourself how to manipulate others to enhance corporate marketing. More snake oil for poor quality managers and salesmen. Leaves me cold.

This is great. She made it clear. Be specific, address the problem, use imagery, and help solve the problem.

This was great. She made it clear and to the point.
I was interested in telling stories with my marketing, but never knew how to do it, until today!
To be honest: I think she did a great job!

Remember when TED was great? Innovation, technology was at the forefront.
It still is tho-
If you open-mindedly listen, at times between the lines, then you would understand, and maybe think different, my friend.
And as a writer, this was inspirational and thought provoking.
The practical man
This is one of the best talks I've heard from TED in a while
❤
TED now has less topics to discuss Morality.

Ironic that her storytelling wasn't interesting, specific nor well paced
flushy story

I turned off paying attention after 1-2 minutes of listening.
More unimportant TED Talks!
You are talking as if you are the most educated person in the planet.
@@gaisabdelrahman6061 Useless topics - lacking in importance!
Then you suggest to them some topics

This girl yells way too much when trying to make a point ... hard to listen even though the speech was good
