What do you usually do with larger orders when they don’t fit in the boxes you have? That’s my biggest problem trying to understand shipping and packaging.
Depends on what is ordered. We structure our offerings based on packaging and have various shipping boxes for various products. You can buy boxes that can be cut down in different sizes using the same box. And if it is a large order then it would be shipped in multiple boxes (1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc). Shipping rates are based on size and weight and location so just charge your customer appropriately.
Hi! I really hope you answer my question, aren’t you worried about your produts getting spoiled after days of staying at room temp? 🥺i have a small cookie business and I’m scared to ship them to faraway places because I’m worried the cookies would spoil on the way since they’re homemade 🥺
Patricia Flores During warm weather months we add ice packs and insulated material. But being in Canada that is only a few months out of the year. Our cookies are shortbread so they have a long shelf life and cupcakes are individually sealed for freshness so they are fine for a fewdays. Most items ship and reach their destination in 2 days so we don’t have any problems. Make sure you check regulations as most countries have rules about processes you need in place as to where you are permitted to ship to. This is why we only ship within our own province currently. Do you have a substitute of the Chinese take out box to send items? Can it be another box that’s smaller

Hi! Generally, how do you coordinate with mail couriers? Are their fees and such?
We use a shipping company like eshipper that shops rates from various companies for you and gives you the best price. Once you setup an account you then just login and print your shipping labels and are charged per shipment.

Heya, how does the baked goods not mold? I have to ship an order and it's gonna take 10 days to arrive, would that still be edible?
I would never send a 10 day old product to a customer! That is a recipe for disaster for sure! Unless it is something that has a very long shelf life. Forexample, our shortbread cookies have a 3 mos + shelf life. But things like cake, brownies, etc, need to be eaten freshly made, 2-3 days max. Good luck!

No need for bubble wrap! Your product will survive fine without it.
