I am a royal ENFIELD fan, many people talk about it's reliability but my experience with RE was different , 4.5 years , 39000 KILOMETERS classic 350 bs3 Clutch cable not even replaced till day Throttle cable not replaced till day Carburetor not opened till day ( no mileage issue ) Chain sprocket lasted arround 37k kilometers Timely service Cam gear adjustments 2 days back Clutch plates replaced after 39000 KILOMETERS Till day bike has been ridden like anything , 1.5 hours in heart staggering traffic from whitefield to bellandur in Bangalore Weekly rides long rides arround 400 KILOMETERS , recently in a long ride bike went to a very deep pothole on 5.30 am while Riding to chikmagalur , fork seal was gone that's it , some bikes and riders are mated to souls , this is what I believe

@@maniandiappan3081 I am an Enfield mechanic , bro ,I do all the service on my own , how I learnt this ,I have friend who is a master in royal Enfield engine and has a garage also , royal Enfield crank will only die and engine comes to overhauling when we don't change oil after 3500 KILOMETERS , even it's synthetic or mineral or a semi synthetic , when ever I go to my friend's shop , two or three vehicles will be getting overhauled , I only visit his shop ,for cam gear adjustments I know that also but it takes time for me to adjust but for him it is just couple of minutes And till day I never had any lower back pain , always comfortable ride , service interval is 3500 to 3700 kilometers , and Costs are I have used mineral oil only ,once I used Castrol power 1 cruise , 875 RS 2.5 litre oil Oil filter 81rupees Air filter ( jaan Hain gadi ki ) 161 rupees M seal , rtv sealant 35 ( for any oil leakage ) Service charge if I visit his shop 700rupees Includes Clutch cable and throttle cable oiling Spark plugs cleaning Bearings check up Brake pads check and re installation LH AND RH COVER opening includes clutch one way assembly bolts tightened up , rh cover new packing to prevent leakage , cam gear adjustments if necessary ,( they needs to be adjusted every 3 or 6 thousand KILOMETERS ) other wise backlash will be more and it sounds like something is hitting the cylinder Fuel cost Every day I used to travel 35 KILOMETERS up and down Weekly 500 rupees petrol and 2000 rupees a month which is very good for me ,

Go get something that’s reliable. I own one ,The riding position and thé ride quality is good! But build quality is extremely poor with very bad service centers,Zero reliabilityand is Absolute waste of money!
Rajdeep Paul I don’t think they’ll improve anything as they have a feeling that customers take pride in owning an RE because of it’s legacy and There is also a cult culture following about owning an RE. The ones that are sold in India have pretty poor build quality while the ones that are being imported are far far better.
I am Himalayan owner and I loved this beast because I road 30k+ kms in 1.8 years and still I only changed brack pads and chain and clutch wires 2 times now going to change tyres and my tyres not even puncher one time I road very raw off-road and comfort of this bike is just loved I went Bangalore to Mumbai to Bangalore 8 times and still just like beast I don't have any complaints just some of things need to improve but still it's best bike ever. Most of the time I travel solo and or else travel with my mother but I am happy with Himalayan I just purchased Benelli TRK 502x that one also super beast but Himalayan also beast.❤️😊👍

@@nealeburgess6756 you don't really need a dedicated keyboard for devnagari script. All you need is a transliteration app for mobile/pc. And it works just fine. You type hindi words with english alphabets and it gets converted to devnagari.
Don't think change of clutch, chain set an tiers at 20000 km is impressive. My R15 v2 clocked 35000. Haven't changed any of it till date, everything is working fine. My 75% is highway riding. Daily I do top speed with red lining the engine most of the times. I daily push this bike to its extreme and still no replacement needed. So I doubt RE reliability!! And yes, No breakdown or issues I have ever faced in this R15 except one time replacement of RR unit. People who say, once you ride RE you won't like anyother bike, should actually ride Yamaha or Honda bikes to understand reality.

riding the bike is different in ladakh roads and different on highway in ladakh you need to use your clutch more due to road conditions thats tge reason
Bhai rider pe bhi depend karta hai How you are handling bike. One of my friend is using Himalayan from 2018 40,000km plus chala chuka hai uske mein it i dikkat ni hai jab k wo off road bhi karta hai. Waise maine bhi abhi Himalayan le li hai 😅

Thanks for solving my problem on my laddak ride....... When i take bike to re showroom they opened my engien...and after 3 hour they find the problem that there is ignition problem.... The mechanic of re is trained to open engien if there is any problem, they will definitely open your engien I think if re bike headlights get fuse re will open your engine

I own this bike in Gurgaon. Travel frequently in Delhi NCR. If you only want to travel in the city then I would suggest some other bike because it's a little tiresome in traffic. And the engine gives off quite some heat during summer, gets uncomfortable for the right leg.
I have a Himalayan, and I have had the worst 3 years of my life with it. So much time and energy wasted on these incompetent bastards. I should be taking them to the court for harassment.

Who said RR310 or RS 200 are Sports touring bike? These are sports bike primarily race machines. First decide your objective of purchasing bike, it will be more easy for you to figure out which bike to buy

Tyre saste hai Splendor ke kyuki patle hain. Kul milake koi ek cheez ka kharcha common hai indono me to vo hai puncture repair ka kyuki dono me tube hai. My trojan (himalayan) turns 3 this Feb, apx 40k km done, honestly, I think it's the best bid in at given price point!

30k km means subtract 6.5% from it.
That's your true distance covered..RE's have 6.5% error in Speedo reading thus affecting total Distance covered

Purchase the cone set imported cone bearings from HDT custom's to avoid the issue.

Well if u talk about travel like real travelling I have a riding clubs n we ride for 15-20 days continue, but when ever I took Royal Enfield with me after reaching 70 kms I started cursing my self then I took dominar n man I like super comfortable like a sofa 🛋 after another year took KTM 390 now I am switching again to dominar bcoz it is like bullet pro n ur video is awesome bro

All you need is a transliteration app for mobile/pc. And it works just fine. You type hindi words with english alphabets and it gets converted to devnagari.

Bhai aap himalayan ki petrol filter naya dalwaao. Uske baad throttle body aur injector ki cleaning karwaao. U will feel major difference

Don't think change of clutch, chain set an tiers at 20000 km is impressive. My R15 v2 clocked 35000. Haven't changed any of it till date, everything is working fine. My 75% is highway riding. Daily I do top speed with red lining the engine most of the times. I daily push this bike to its extreme and still no replacement needed. So I doubt RE reliability!! And yes, No breakdown or issues I have ever faced in this R15 except one time replacement of RR unit. People who say, once you ride RE you won't like anyother bike, should actually ride Yamaha or Honda bikes to understand reality.
I think you might be the first person who reaches the top speed of his bike everyday, you should apply for a world record :)

riding the bike is different in ladakh roads and different on highway in ladakh you need to use your clutch more due to road conditions thats tge reason

The mechanic of re is trained to open engien if there is any problem, they will definitely open your engien

Total litre of petrol used =~70000/70= ~1000 litre.
20000 km ride in 1000 litre petrol.
Mileage = 20000/1000= ~20kmpl
If you buy a Enfield bike.. you will soon become a good mechanic yourself.. The 650cc interceptor is a decent bike but needs a 25kg weight cut ✂️😀

I own this bike in Gurgaon. Travel frequently in Delhi NCR. If you only want to travel in the city then I would suggest some other bike because it's a little tiresome in traffic. And the engine gives off quite some heat during summer, gets uncomfortable for the right leg.
