    Loving the guppies! I remember a comment you left on one of my videos about one of these crosses. The gray offspring was something I suspected would happen. The blond body of the male is a recessive trait. The albino of the female is also a recessive trait. So the offspring got one copy blond and one copy albino. So the baseline gray re-emerges because it is dominant. Looking forward to what you do next!

      That is very interesting! I’m excited to see what pattern and color the baby guppys show once they are fully grown.

      I know :( I actually have to do something similar, than you had to do with all of your tanks, in the future.. so I’m starting to drastically downsize!

    Those guppies that you are growing out to breed are very pretty. They look so subtle but then you get smacked in the face with that beautiful iridescence 🤩

    What lights are you using for your planted tanks?

    • @ucaquatics
      @ucaquatics  Месяц назад +1

      @@steventruong55 Top Fin® Flexible Nano Aquarium LED Light - you can get it at petsmart for 19,99$ ! I really love the light and have it for almost all of my tanks. Only the gray magnet is a little bit of an eyesore if you want super high end looking aquariums. But I would definitely recommend it!

    Do you have another video focused on the plant holder insert thing with the roots?

      @ucaquatics Good to hear bc I have a pothos ivy plant I want to add to the top of my 20 gl tall. I want to keep the algea down and they suck the nitrates out I've heard.

      @ucaquatics  Месяц назад +1

      @@kovenant7I feel like the pothos plays a very important role in Algae prevention! And, as you already said, in reducing nitrates.
