I loved the sentence "this year" like you don't have a month to go by your words 😄 anyway awesome fish , especially the rainbows , absolutely beautiful quality!
FINALLY was able to sit down and watch all the way thru - love the update! FYI 4ft is too short to put 2x20L since each tank is 30”, but you could do a 20L + a 10G or 20T longways - I like the latter combo personally. Can’t wait to get my fish room update complete so you can see where some of your ideas have been implemented! Also happy to see the little teacup platys all grown up! I’ll be taking the next round of fry to the LFS soon. I’ve also had the best luck I’ve ever had with your CPDs - not one single loss since following your advice! I guess 5th time is the charm, eh? I’ll be trying my hand at breeding them soon if all continues to go well. If you ever get bitten by the ricefish bug, let me know! I’ve got 5 varieties going right now - go hard or go home, I suppose 😂
Thank you for showing us around your fish room. Kribensis is a very good little breeder, it's wonderful to watch them parent and raise their fry, It's a great experience to watch. With that little bit of space you've got left if it was me and you wanted to maximise The tank space I would possibly do a mixture of tens and twenties if you can make that work. That way you've got the best of both worlds. I love your Melania trifasciata blle rainbows, I wish I could get some from you but I'm in the UK xx
That would be really fun to watch, maybe I'll put them in Sydney's room so she can watch them breed! Ok great, thank you for the suggestions! I definitely want to be smart and maximize the space so I appreciate it. I wish I could send fish to you as well. Maybe someday I'll figure it out!
Fish room s looking really good. Doesn’t seem that long ago you were fitting it out and painting it. Those Blyth River rainbows are stunning. M.trifascaita are underrated IMO. I used to have Wonga, Coen and Goyder Rivers.
Love your videos and always looking forward to when you release them. Thank you for the content and info. Any chance you could include links to the supplies you used to make that poly lid with hinge? Or a short video showing the process? Thanks.
Hi Dan, I’ve bought from you a couple of times at the GCCA swap. Love the videos. How do you heat the room? In the process of building my new fishroom and wtill trying to figure the best method. Thanks! Zach
Hello what are you're water parameters are you still using ro water with seachem equilibrium? Also how has seachem equilibrium worked for guppies and other hardwater fishes?
Yes I am! pH 7, gH 3-6, kH 3-6, TDS 120-200. The guppies seem to be doing well, my African cichlids still get my tap water because I know they love the hard water. I guess rainbows are known to do well in hard water but I keep them in the soft water as well
If you enjoy this video, please do me a BIG favor and hit that like button ^^^ I had to repost it after some audio issues. Thank you!!! - Dan
