I have watched the deterioration of the Republican Party over time.. There is no credibility anymore. The party stopped reasoning and became obstructionists and has been radicalized. Taken over by Trumps. It's done.
I never could stomach Trump, yet alone vote for him. But after watching this country turn into a shit show, I realized that it was time to leave the party. The Republican Party is now the party of subversion. I will vote a straight Democratic ticket from now on.

I can't afford what they want us to put into the system when they are getting tax breaks and favors given to them and boats and houses and all sorts of crap. No way! I was only a republican for one reason and that reason isn't good enough anymore, I'm thinking about myself, my paycheck, the country and their paychecks. That's what matters, the people who make the money for the people who have the money, who keep running our country into the ground if you don't make over a million a year, you are dating outside your league and you're screwing over the country.

He was fortunate to escape an assassination attempt and thus joined a small number of US Presidents who survived. Those other two being Ronald Raegan, and Theodore Roosevelt. History shows us that the other four presidents who were shot weren't so lucky. Lincoln, Garfield, McKinnley, and Kennedy died of the wounds they recieved.

In 1964, many Republicans tried (and some succeeded) distancing themselves from Barry Goldwater, whom a lot of the public saw as too radical. Compared with Trump, Goldwater was downright conservative (but he allied with some creepy operators).
