Thanks for all your work. I've leant so much from your videos. I've now got a fully functioning home media server with Trafeik and authelia working. I'm in Croatia on holiday as I type this and accessing my home media server securely. Great videos and guides that make these seemingly complicated process accessible to everyone.
Looks great! Gonna spinn up a server and have a run, might drop ansibleNAS for this. Gonna look through the list off apps after work and request a few to be added 😁
Thanks for the work of combining and adding to all the work you've done on your htpc/smarthome journey. A few of your blogs helped me back in the day to pass one of my exam projects. Well said - " ...... is not a replacement for learning". Glad you are still at it and sharing :). If you hadn't had uploaded some info I was researching, I wouldn't have seen how far you've come. Membered up to show my support for all you've helped me with. Btw, amazing discord channel!
Looks awesome. I've followed your previous video tutorials and they work great (when I follow them exactly). Thanks again for your hard work on putting this together. I look forward to spinning up deployarr and giving it a try!
I am currently moving to a new apartment and I will be doing the complete overhaul of my network. Deployarr seems like a logical way to go. Can't wait for the video with details.
I've been following your guides the last couple of weeks setting up my "UDMS". I needed to understand it before using your script. Today I bought the Deployarr Pro access to support your work the best i can. I don't like monthly payments on anything. I think the concept is fantastic.
Anand, thanks for all your work on this and creating a super-helpful Discord community around it. I have learned so much from you regarding Proxmox, Docker, Linux, networking and more from your articles, videos and from using AT / Deployarr,
Have pro licence, would like authentik supported, used guides to manually add authentik to my stack. Trying to not use Google at all, so won’t use oauth! Greate job on getting new version out of the door!
Thank you Anand for such a great setup. I've been watching your videos whilst setting up my homelab and they have proved invalueable. I intend to use Deployarr in the future but I'm going to continue to go through your tutorials to understand the details before I do. Just subbed as a Gold Member to your site for the next year, many thanks for all of your hard work!
Why would anyone pay for something that is simply docker compose files? Traefik can be automated within your docker compose files to do the exposing through your own domain. Why charge for basically open source and free software?
I am going to assume these are genuine questions. As i mention in the video, you don't have to. You can just follow my guides which explain everything in detail and are some of the most popular guides on Docker/Traefik. Deployarr is not a replacement for learning. No one is forced to pay. It is a choice to support my website and youtube channel - 15 years of hard work and several thousand dollars spent.
@dbishop9085 You can have an opinion based on facts (I am happy to respond to those) but naming calling is not acceptable. I will let it pass this time because i learned a new word.
@@AnandsLab Do you mean the comment "And I don't think any of these devs gave him permission to do this. He's a schlep" ? It's still there. I can see it. I'm still curious about why you keep trying to piggy-back off the existing brands of others. First Auto-Traefik, now Deployarr. Looking through your Github, you don't seem to have any association with either Traefik or any of the *arrs.
Well the comment disappeared and then came back. Again to each his own. I will continue based on the feedback I am receiving and not based on someone who han't taken the time to learn facts. I know how many i have helped. Good luck to you!
Looks great, happy I stumbled upon your channel while overhauling reverse proxy from NGINX to Traefik - hope to see a proxmox cluster proper setup (in a cluster, for example) support - thanks!
Already subscribed, so looking forward to trying out version 5. So far I have been stubborn and not used it. But for rapid experiment I figure it's a must have. I have a NAS supporting NFS, but your rclone looks like a more robust implementation to moving media around. I did notice Gluten so will match my production implementation nicely. Enjoy
I used your UDMS guide to set up my homelab and understand docker compose settings more. I would love a copy of deployarr to allow for easy setup of new linux proxmox virtual machines!
Looks to be a great product with a lot of time put in and would have considered paying for a license for the whole suite, but then saw it was a subscription service. NO THANKS.
Deployarr itself is not a subscription service and just a one time payment. I have memberships as well which are subscriptions and include Deployarr access along with other benefits
It is still possible if you can invest in a cheap VPS, about 5 bucks a month. You can run your proxy there. Use ZeroTier or Tailscale to connect into your home (no public IP needed). You run all your apps at home and Traefik will access the apps via ZeroTier IP and serve the apps over the internet.
Really nice. Thanks. Streamlining some otherwise very desperate and fiddly things. Heck you said don’t use it in place of learning but this seems to help people learn a huge amount with some smoothness too. One Q. I have really enjoyed Dockge which is a docker manager type tool like portainer but perhaps nicer for a home lab. Will the use of Dockge conflict with this tool? Dockge likes or prefers the files and containers in a specific subtree. Thanks again. Hope this takes off in a really good way for you.
I have recently bought hardware to build a server but do not have the know how to install Proxmox nor Docker, let alone which to use, but this looks like it would take a lot of the guess work out of it for me. Once I get the system built, looks like I may be buying the pro version for backups.
You are welcome to try it out. But i want to be upfront that if you are absolute beginner then Deployarr may work but you will encounter challenges. But the good thing is if something goes wrong, you can scrape everything and start over in minutes.
Looks like a really good timesaver, I have been setting up an install manually in arch but it needs updating, and I want to move it somewhere else, and I believe I have to switch to ubuntu or debian or something using aptitude instead of pacman
Sort of, with some manual work. Backup first. Then, leave .env file, secrets folder, and appdata folder. Delete the rest. Use Deployarr to reinstall apps. It will auto use your data from appdata folder. YOu may have issues with apps that use databases. This will be fixed in the next release. Deployarr v4 was fully compatible with my UDMS guides. V5 is a significant change. But I will be moving my guides and videos to the new way implemented in v5 as well. At that point they will be compatible.

Funny I just commented from Oslo on holidays from Australia 🦘. Yep a very cool chanel
Great to hear!
Definitely a big time saver for the complexity of setting a lot of this up from scratch, thankyou ❤

A few apps so far that I'm missing: Audiobookshelf
Tailscale
Syncthing
Will the licenses move over to v6 and so on?
Any plans to add Audiobookshelf, adguard home, tailscale and syncthing? Thos seem to be the only once I’m missing at the moment.
You surely are working hard. 🎉 Congratulations on the recent version. Your tutorials are great!

Thanks for the support. Responded to you on Discord.
Your tutorials were great when I first got started using Docker after doing bare metal for years! This looks great!
Just found your channel! Can’t wait to watch more.
Thanks for subbing!

Great stuff. Been following your guides for my new server - thank you for all your work!
Fantastic job and solution. Lot's of great information in blog. Bravo !!!!

Greate job on getting new version out of the door!
I will get it to you before v6 :-)
Just bought the pro version and started planning my revamp of my whole server can’t wait for the new Video tutorial

awesome, I am really enjoying your content. I ended up purchasing your pro license and am really impressed with everything so far!
This looks pretty amazing. Great work!
Interesting homelab aid. Gonna give it a try to expand my small lab a bit. Thanks for the info.
Let me know how it goes. JOin the Discord if you need help.
That is the tool I was looking for, great work
Thanks 👍
I first heard about v4 not too long ago and thought it was a cool idea. This v5 looks even nicer!
v5 is the biggest rewrite since initial release. Plus, so much faster.
Incredible! Thanks very much 🙏✨
Sounds pretty cool. Will check out.

I will take a note. But it will probably down the road. So many things to do and so hard to find time with family and a day job.

Nice update !
great video, keep up the great work!
Looks cool, would love to try it!🎉
Great job! But nothing works for me without a public (white) IP from my ISP. I'm sad.

My pleasure! I should be the one thanking.
Can’t wait to try and buy

I love Dockge too. I played with it a bit. It needs some work to integrate with Deployar. I will look into it.
great video I will check it out
Just happened on your video and looks amazing. I was wondering could you add flaresolverr
Thanks. Flaresolverr is in the list.

Thanks for the shout-out, keep up the awesome content.
Happy to. Learned a lot from you...right now on your OPNsense series :-)
@@AnandsLab great! Just going through pfSense at the moment. One of those should be the perfect fit.
It would be awesome if you can get Mealie and Komga in the stack!
will add them to the list.
wow that will be my choice to setup home lab on raspi 4 8gb
Thanks! First winner here 😂😂😂
Good luck!
I love this
Thanks
good!!!

Is there a future deployment on kubernetes possible?
Unfortunately, I have not gotten into kubernetes yet. Not sure when i will have time.
@@AnandsLab that would be nice though hehe 🙃
which router are you using in the lab?
ISP Router from Sunrise in Switzerland. Setting up OPNsense right now.
@@AnandsLab does open sense compare to Cisco enterprise routers since open sense is open source

Wait a minute, is this paid?
Yes. But you you may also follow my guides to do exactly the same thing. Just manually.
thanks for your hardwork. i learn a lot from you, sir.
Very nice!
Deloyerr 5 looks good. Can I magrate from the UDMS solution?
