At The Sooner Now Munich, cutting edge thinkers from the fields of architecture, art, gastronomy and mobility discussed why the city needs to establish a strong sense of community and how this will lead to positive change in the Bavarian capital.
For the occasion, an iconic space was reopened: The Pavilion at Lenbachplatz, built in the 1950s, it has now been lavishly redesigned as a meeting place with cafe, coworking space, and even a hair salon inside. It’s a fitting tie-in with the motto of the original MINI and the initiative, The Sooner Now. Ulrike von Mirbach, head of marketing for MINI Germany emphasized it at the beginning of the evening: creative use of space.
MINI Germany and Friends of Friends founded the initiative The Sooner Now in 2016 and have since provided a stage for the most pressing topics surrounding the future of our cities
