Steve Hamp has vast knowledge of real deal training that will improve your life. I have been doing the Muscle Restructure set as taught on his DVDs and the program is not to be underestimated. When I was 12, I learned "marrow washing" qi gong, but I was told it was muscle restructure. I always wondered why it didn't do a thing for my muscles. After learning it from Steve Hamp, my questions were finally answered. The set will improve your strength rapidly and it helped me regain some diminished nerve control from Lyme disease symptoms. If you still are on the fence, don't take my word. Go to his website and get his lowest priced offering (No Weights Workout eBook) and do what is taught in it. You will see and you will want to learn more of what he teaches. Also, legit Shuai Jiao is brutal when there are no mats to soften the falls. My motivation for writing this? I never met Steve but his products have really given me tremendous benefits, so I think it is honorable to spread the word. Especially with so much half assed rip offs out there (I probably fell for most of them over the years and wasted thousands of dollars!) When I find something legit , I speak up to let true seekers know what direction to go towards. In case you're wondering, I am an officer with over a literal number of 10,000 arrests. I have more than a general clue of what really works on violent, strong men who are hell bent on not going back to prison.
What a great testimonial to what these exercises can do for anyone and everyone regardless of your current condition. Thank you Shambhu0 for sharing your experience. I have worked with kids that were confined to wheelchairs in developing strength, there is no better way in my opinion. I too have seen exercises with similar names, but almost all of them are some kind of Chi Gung, soft movements that have nothing to do with building muscle or developing real strength. Shambhu0, we hear people all the time people thanking (and rightly so) our military men and women for their service, but rarely do we hear thanks being given to the men and women of law enforcement. Thank you so very much for your service as an officer, what would any society on Earth be without the men and women that patrol our streets keeping them safe from the bad elements. Thanks for sharing your story and thank you for your service. In America we have seen parenting being taken away from parents. Teaching being taken away from teachers, and now we see policing trying to be taken away from police officers. Men and women of law enforcement, keep your heads up, and please continue to keep our citizens safe and well protected, we have your back!
This is a solid example, great instructional video particularly like the part of locking your leg out against opponents knee for a very fast take down.👍👍👍
I do Boading of course. And where are you located? I haven't been able to watch many videos that you have, but the ones that I did watch are very nice. You have a good channel.
You are really showing martial application within the shuai jiao. Nasty stuff, in good way. I would love to learn this. It’s really historic, forgotten, rare information. I Appreciate it
EliteBlackSash...I appreciate your comment. I have always said that Shuai Chiao's beauty is in her brutality. I love it when people can see this without feeling it!
This footwork stepping behind is know as Sempok in the Indonesian art of Pentjak asilat. Beautiful seeing the common lines linking two martial arts together
The Art of Pentjak Silat has a very strong history as one of the most complete styles ever created. To now know that this Indonesian martial art also has this same stepping technique makes me respect Silat even more. Thank you.
I practice muay thai and im a beginner ive been interested in Chinese martial arts and jiujutsu and i will eventually take the classes but its pretty hard to find out Chinese kung fu teachers. This looks pretty cool and i would try this with my sparing partner the next time he does the round house kick on me Thank you
Mark Williams, thank you. You know what man, people have been asking about videos, you bring up a pretty good case for a video, Various Drills for Steel Stepping. One off hand is what I read about GM Cha'ng, and that is to be on a hill, and when you steel step (going upwards) then kick your leg back (now you're facing downhill) it'll really works your balance and stability. I always like to use bamboo and also elastic bands for solo practice. But, again thanks Mark, I'll get on it man.
@@mgtowproperties Thanks for the support. I want to make and teach some good stuff...hard core techniques, but I like better the drills. So we'll see, but thanks bro for always being here for me!
About grabbing the leg when your opponent is kicking you, in a real fight, with full force, how do you do not to get the full blast of his foot to destroy your ribcage? It's smarter to take the leg from beneath rather than from above like shown in the video, you get more control and it allows you to avoid the blast with your arm at the same time.
Absolutely agree with you Texan PlayeR...People hate so much while they're behind the computer, so I said, "It doesn't matter how you got the leg, even if he kicks you and then you grab it". If I would have picked the leg, people would say, "That won't work", so I basically took all of their negativity out of the conversation before they could spit it.
So you apparently are implying that I "stole" these techniques. Well wingchun guy, what do you think I did, looked through a hole in the fence and that's how I learned the Steel Step? Such ignorance!!
Steve, some CMA calls that step 偸馬 (偷吗) which is "stealing horse step", as in stealing away from the horse, but I like Steel Step especially for the way you apply it. Clean, concise and full of iron!
Thank you! Unlike the video I just did on Master Wong, a lot of white belts blindly following their master. You Mr. Creech, I can see that you have a formal martial education. I appreciate your comment and knowledge!
@@TheIronandSilk No, he didn't mean that. In Chinese, we called that "steal" step. This guy Matthew Creech had the Chinese character there. Chinese marital like Hung Gar always talk about "steal" step, and Choy li fut too.
Great video. No nonsense instructions. Now my dragon stance is a Shuai Chiao Steel/Steal Step! Thank you.
ths tai...Glad you liked it.
this is wicked. i know this vid is gonna get popular
JoelPerez...Glad you found it and like it!

I thought it should be "steal" step.
This instructor is good, I like the way he showed how he grabbed a kick, took a steal step and throw.
This is a solid example, great instructional video particularly like the part of locking your leg out against opponents knee for a very fast take down.👍👍👍
Thanks John!!
I know this video is almost 4 years old, but just came across. Thank you for sharing, and would love to see more Shuai Jiao demonstrated on RUclips!
I'll be getting on it asap Tom, thanks!!
The most efffective skill among Chinese martial arts

Watch this video critical parts in 0.5x speed
what family of shuai jiao do you practice?
Pascual el vidrios...Bao Ding, Ch"ang Family.
Me too!,I see the picture of the great great master Chang Tung Sheng on the wall
Steal step not steel step! One stealing space with that step. But good instruction video!
