Writer and Director Jeff Nichols on Finding a Point of View
Jeff is one of the best writer/directors out there these days
Jeff Nichols is a talented and underrated filmmaker. One thing he said that stood out was 'the older I've gotten, and the more that I've done this, I start to feel like I'm finally getting prepared to make a movie.' I'm going to be thinking about that line for awhile.
Thank you for this awesome longer video! The art of cinematography isn't valued enough by the average viewer. I absolutely love channels that dissect film.
+Danielle Blouse every frame a painting, yms, now you see it, channel criswell, what it all meant, and nerd writer all analyze and dissect films
Such an amazing filmmaker, really shedding a new light on a format that has become very stale as of recent.
this was so cool! i learned so much and now im going to watch midnight special again.
My favourite American filmmaker
love how you always set a new challenge for yourself
This is awesome. Waiting to see The Bikeriders❤
Nice
that clip is really not in sink
Did they remove any kind of audience feedback/laughter. A british audience would have loved the self-deprication/honesty, whereas at times this feels like it's been made to come across sad.
hey im second tk comment. also good job
Im not a filmmaker but tried watching this out of curiosity and it simply came across as dull and egotistical. I dont think this man is that way its just the video.
