So to clarify, you use the binder medium on the watercolor paper FIRST, like a primer coat, then do watercolor on top? Thanks.

thecheerio786 The Binder Medium will seal the surface of the watercolor paper before painting with the Atelier Interactive Acrylics, rather than with watercolor paints. The Interactive Acrylics can be used for watercolor effects, and having the Binder Medium underneath to seal the paper will make lifting the acrylic easier because the paint won’t soak in and stain the paper. Hello my name is Isabel. I would like to know the name of the Water you use to clean the colour painted. Is it for only oil paint?

+Isabel Nunes The Chroma Atelier Acrylics and Binder Medium can be cleaned up with tap water or distilled water. If you have problems removing the color, a little soap will help lift the paint from your brush. This medium is for acrylic paints only, not oil paints. Hey there, I really like to make my under paintings with Atelier Acrylics. Would it be safe to paint with oils on top of Binder Medium? Thanks!

+TechMorning Yes, you could paint oils over an underpainting of the Atelier Acrylics and with an isolation coat of the Binder Medium. Just make sure that the acrylics are fully cured before applying the oils and do not apply the acrylics over the oils.

Is this good to seal a drawing before painting?

+Eye on art The Chroma Binder Mediumwill seal drawings to keep them from smearing when applying paint over them,
the medium itself may smear pencil lines during application. While this can be
used effectively for this purpose, a workable fixative spray would more
assuredly offer the same effect while keeping the initial drawing from being
distorted in any way.
