- I don't remember spring being a tough season to overseed... I guess this really is still end of winter 😩 This weather is making things difficult... 7 days no germination on both Neighbors lawns... we need hotter night temps to really get this seed cooking! Had to mow it off to shake some of this overseeding anxiety... believe me it's a thing and it's real 😅😂🤙🏾

We are about 2 days behind your neighbor Rick next door and we have no seedlings sprouting yet either... We're in Albany Oregon.... Talk about going outside every morning and evening checking to see if we see anything LMAO, we get low for minutes looking for the greens!! Seeding anxiety is REAL! We did 3 day germination with BLACKOUT (Fireball/Hatrick) over here trying to be the greenest yard in our neighborhood 🤙🏼
Struggling with the same problem. as soon as I think the temps are gonna be great from germination, BAM temp drop and I’m in Florida it’s suppose to be 100 degrees everyday by now lol

Brah, i tried repairing a couple patches with some scotts sun and shade just to see if it would do anything and… nothing!! Just too early in colorado. But i’ll do it again in a week or two. Dont worry my dude it’ll grow, as usual!!🤙🏽🤙🏽

Your lawn looks super clean but if you power washed your sidewalk and cleaned out the grass out of the gutters it would look fire and step it up a notch. My son and I have been watching for last few weeks and it’s great content. We live in Alaska so we can’t start our lawn for a few more weeks. Keep up the great work.

Cold soil is no joke. I'm in NJ and I put rye down week 1 April and it took literally 2 weeks to germinate. But once it did it filled in insanely fast.

Yeah dem temps are not working with us at the moment! Seems to be the exactly same here in Europe, must be some global cold & warm fronts or something 😂. But yeah March was actually a better month for seeding than April. I guess you just gotta leave months or seasons behind and just check the 14 day forecast; if that gives warm enough temps at night you're got to go.

Its taken 12 days for mine to sprout . Temps over night have been in the high 30s at night and only in the very low 60s in the day.

Since I came across your channel I've been binge-watching the hell out of them. I live in Ohio and my house was built last year. The builder decided to lay down my sod in the hottest time of the year. My grass just died off no matter how much I watered it. Fast forward to this year, my grass is thin and there's rocks all over my yard. Terrible sod job honestly. How to you recommend I attack this? I know I probably running short on time before the summer heat, but I'm just desparate at this point.

Yep, I'm in the same boat, this damn cold weather in Washington. Day nine of seeding with Fireball and Hatrick and I'm just now seeing a small patch of new shoots. Never called it over seed anxiety but that's a good one. Did you pregerminate any of the seed that's on day seven?

Bro I'm dealing with the same thing. Its been nearly a MONTH since I seeded my bare spots and just now am I seeing some seedlings coming up. Mind you this is also with tall fescue which should be much quicker than KBG. I think I'm gonna try again next month and then again in the fall. You throw enough down something has to happen eventually right?
