I think I see this comment on every SSPU video. Chris has been drumming like that for the past 15+ years and he doesn't seem to tire. I guess he's free to spend his own energy the way he likes. It doesn't hurt anyone and it's great entertainment.
I can see both your point and the commenters. In comparison with the crowds “energy” it may seem off, sure. But that’s definitely the crowds fault. He’s playing how he feels and I love it! Shows are meant to be vibed to and enjoyed, not seen through someone’s amateur phone video. I can’t judge anyone here though, I’ve been guilty of pulling out my phone at shows as well. Always trying to capture a moment of something I love, instead of just enjoying the moment. 😋 I really enjoyed this though, drummer, bassist and singer all sounded great! And I hope anyone reading this reply to a year old comment is doing well. 😄
