Big props to More's VA. Throughout the entire game he's been this calm, collected Igor-like man, never even raising his voice. Which makes this moment, where he's genuinely freaking out out of terror for his son's wellbeing, hit all the harder!
Not only that, but also dump all of his pain/depression collected through tragedy after tragedy in his life, and now being at the cusp of losing something precious to him again while having the power to do something, saying the dude got screwed over is the understatement of the century, ATLUS definitely has set a huge bar in terms of "most tragic video game character" in the future, at least compared to what they've made up until now.

I just realized how perfect your team is: You have the 4 people who've been the most affected by Louis throughout the game. Louis murdered the protagonist's father and ordered the assassination of the prince; he was behind the destruction of Strohl's hometown; he had the heroes take Eupha's island's divine relic for his own means and admitted he'd have no problem burning her island to the ground; and he murdered Basilio's brother right before his eyes. It is very cathartic having these 4 be the ones to take him down!
Correction: Louis wasn't the one who ordered the hit on the Prince (or Will/Pixel), it was Forden who blackmailed Rella into it to frame Louis, but Louis DID murder the King, so your point stands I'll give you that
Louis really is what you get when combine a main character's heroic determination with an inability to rely on others. Louis gave up on the world. More gave up on the world. Various members of our party nearly gave up on the world at some point too. The thing that is different for our party is that they had others to help them at critical points.
Got A LOT to say again, but it's only about one thing this time. More's real identity is probably my favorite twist in the entire game, even above the lore dump we got earlier after the prince's fusion. Here's why. For much of the game, I thought the king would be doomed to be another non-character whose sole purpose was to cause the story's entire political conflict through his death and subsequent royal magic. But then we see his magla ghost during endgame addressing some of that, which is sorta what I wanted for the prince (an actual backstory). And what do we get? A man who had his wife and his son taken away from him, and got so depressed that he gave up on everything, including being king. He then decided to set things up so that, in his eyes, people would get the perfect king for them, as while he knew abdicating would cause too much unwanted chaos to be a viable option for him, he felt he could no longer be that king. That alone was already interesting enough, but then we learn that More is that same king, with at least some of the later memories, but more like how he was _before_ he got his life ruined. This literally changes how we view More and the king _for the entire story._ Suddenly, whenever More talks about himself instead of just his Archetype research, either things make more sense or you see them in a whole new light. Want an example? At Rank 5 he talks about an unpleasant memory he got, about a trusted comrade that betrayed him in the past, but he doesn't even remember the guy's face (or what he did, for that matter, at least he doesn't tell us that). With this twist's knowledge, it turns out that More likely remembered about _Forden._ He also remembers in another event that he travelled around the world before, and that's how he got to write his novel eventually. _Of course_ he did that, it's how he met the protagonist's mother! It's even possible that she told him some of the world's real history - she could have even shown him the same murals we've seen, she _was_ the eldan village's leader - and _that_ was the main inspiration for his novel! I could even keep going, but my point is that in just one move, they avoided the story pitfall the prince fell into _and_ recontextualized two entire characters into one with a better outlook of his whole life. I feel that's almost what they intended to do with the prince, but for me it landed for real with More/Hythlodaeus. And just as a final bonus: Plateau is More's cat. Since More is your dad, you could argue he's _your_ cat too! But more in the sense that your parent owns a pet but you don't live together, and if you visit them often, said pet is pretty chill around you as if you were their owner too (and you may consider yourself that due to this + taking care of them when you can as well)
Things going crazy not all that unexpected with how things have been playing out up until now! But some really crazy reveals that is for sure! For my team I went with a "lore/revenge" group being Strohl/Hulkenberg/Basilio who I think deserved it the most! Thankfully Strohl leveled up when not in the party because I had benched him once I got Junah for most of my playthrough. It was hard for me to sit out Eupha, but it did make for a fun fight not using her.
4:35 No. Louie didn't have soldiers invade Hallie and have it burn, he just didn't send aid when a hoomawn was rampaging there. 7:15 I do not like where that healthbar is placed. 39:26 Standing here, I realize you were just like me: trying to make history. But whose to judge the right from wrong? When our guard is down, I think we'll both agree that violence breeds violence. But in the end, it has to be this way. 39:56 A bunch of baby ducks, send them to the moon Soda machine that doesn't work, send it to the moon
I kind of wished Louis' archdemon form did not show his original look. After all, if it is his version of an archetype then it should give him a complete makeover. Anyways, turns out the Prince was helping his dead dad's research this whole game. Though neither knew this.
I found the accessory that reflects elemental attacks from the giant golden tooth humans. Farmed them for the party and reflected nearly all Louis’s attacks 🤣
"YOU WERE MY FIRST READER!"
Genuine chills.

@marticouz4230 I meant when Louis ordered Zorba to assassinate the Prince in the present day
@@SamTheMarioMan Ah, forgot about that, thanks for clarifying.
Looks like Pixel took Batlin's advice when it comes to ripping his heart out instead of becoming a human
I swear Louis is an undertale protagonist seeing how he refuses to die and has more determination than most villains
Eaxctly he is my favorite villain and I would even go so far he is the second protagonist of metaphor
I am your father moment hits every single time!
Charles approves of Neuras' flying technique.

Louis gave up on the world. More gave up on the world. Various members of our party nearly gave up on the world at some point too.
The thing that is different for our party is that they had others to help them at critical points.
The power of having a good support system of people who care. 😭
Traversing the wastes goes hard here. Now, to the final battle!
Dads are welcome in Euchronia.
This finale keeps getting more interesting the closer we get to the conclusion

In typical Atlus fashion, we like our loooong finale segments.

17:15 I just had a horrible realization. About where those humans came from, what they’re actually Louis’s army all mutated to fulfill his goal?
4:35 No. Louie didn't have soldiers invade Hallie and have it burn, he just didn't send aid when a hoomawn was rampaging there.

"Fucking leaf in the wind..."
That hurts dude
I found the accessory that reflects elemental attacks from the giant golden tooth humans. Farmed them for the party and reflected nearly all Louis’s attacks 🤣
These sacrifices for the king reminds me of a certain Final Fantasy 😭
39:18 says the guy trapping his own son in story book of all things.
Dang im not gonna lie but the constant jokes during THAT fight kinda took away the epicness of the battle. 😂
