@@OverheadAthletics that's awesome! Possible to make an arm wrestling specific video for stretching flexors, taking care of the ucl, and keeping the elbow balanced? Probably be a bit of study to get all of the angles and torque put through there.
Tore my UCL snowboarding in January, I’ve had a couple weeks of PT but I don’t think it’s helping. Here is my MRI read: 1. Slight comminuted coronoid process fracture. 2. Intrasubstance signal likely partial tear of the anterior bands of the ulnar collateral ligament along the distal humerus. High-grade partial tear and stripping of the posterior band ulnar collateral ligament along the distal humerus. Stripping or partial tearing of the anterior band of the ulnar collateral ligament at the sublime tubercle. 3. Partial tear of the lateral ulnar collateral and radial collateral ligaments Can this be repaired with PT? Thanks in advance for
I injured my UCL about 8 years ago pitching, I don’t think it was a full tear because it’s was still functional although I lost speed. as of recently it’s been giving me discomfort in the gym. Is it too late to strengthen it? will this still help me?
As someone who completely tore their UCL, after a few weeks, I would have never known it was torn really. My gym lifts weren't less, but overhead tricep extensions bothered my elbow a bit. I'd honestly recommend consulting a doctor because it COULD actually be fully torn.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
What kind of pain level should one progress the exercises at? Is 4 of 10 pain level acceptable?
Have you ever looked into arm wrestling rehab for injuries to the ucl and flexors?
Yep! We are huge fans of arm wrestling as well

PT doesn’t repair anything but can you get the elbow back to 100% with PT and conservative care? I think there is a good prognosis
@@OverheadAthletics Thank you man, I’ve recently changed to a different PT and I think it’s going to make a huge difference.

This will definitely help
